Review: Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm Vitamin C

How great has it been, being plunged just about straight into Summer here in Australia? Sydney has been filled with sun, sand and surf and after the weekend we just had, it's easy to think that Spring just had a one month stretch, and we're all about the Summer months! It also means that my skincare routine and makeup products have had to have a bit of a shake up and change up! I've been using less products than usual, as my makeup has been melting off my skin, and it's been such a relief to come home and remove it all, so that I could have bare, happy skin to sit around in.

If there's one thing that I would definitely trust Garnier with, it's removing all of my makeup! I've been a fan of Garnier and their micellar water range for ages, and I was so excited to see their Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm Vitamin C turn up on my desk! This is meant to remove all traces of your makeup, cleanse the skin and help keep it bright through the magic of Vitamin C! It boasts the ability to gently take off longwear products, leaving the skin with a non-greasy finish, while also being hydrated.

This comes as a solid yellow balm with a screw lid, and once you've scooped out how much you need to face the challenges that you've been wearing all day, just work it a little bit onto the skin, by massaging it in rotational strokes. Make sure you're working it into the skin around the bits of makeup that's hard to remove, and that the skin is dry when you're doing this. Then, once you feel like you've done a sufficient number of circular motions, you can add a bit of water to the mix to emulsify it, turning it into a milky lather.

This doesn't have an obvious scent to it, despite me expecting a citrus fragrance, and I love that this is vegan! I've been using this against a variety of different products, and it has been really effective for removing just about everything I've been wearing! This has been able to take down waterproof mascara, which is probably the biggest challenge that you'd find on my face, aside from certain lip products that I also tested it against, which, with a bit of work, came on as well.

It's really quite affordable, sitting at $35 for 100g, considering that you can vary the amount according to what product you're targeting, and how much makeup you have on your skin. I love how effective this is at getting the makeup off, and how soft and clean my skin feels right after that, even without double cleansing. It's also an easy product to get, use and love, with this cleansing balm being available just about anywhere. Have you tried the Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm Vitamin C?
