Review: BYBI Beauty Strawberry Booster

Is anyone else obsessed with the weather here in Australia? I'm sure that I'm not the only one who dresses according to the weather, where I religiously check what the temperature and conditions would be for the day before choosing my outfit, and of course, as we're now in a transitional season, we're dealing with fluctuations, sometimes wild, at times mild, and mostly just confusing. This not only makes it difficult to pack for trips away, in addition to being tricky, dressing for work, but it's also trying to do a number on my skin.

The upside is that I can put some product through the paces and a range of conditions and temperatures, so I can tell how they really work on me! To help battle the dry and erratic weather that I've been dealing with, I've been testing out the BYBI Beauty Strawberry Booster, which I recently bought from Sephora, as I was looking for a facial oil that's meant to help moisturise the skin, while giving the skin a bit of an extra glow.

It was very nice to revisit a brand that I last tried out about 6 years ago, and honestly, that's about 6 years too long! If you're unfamiliar with BYBI Beauty, you can find my previous posts over here and here. As a refresher, BYBI Beauty is all about being a sustainable, vegan beauty brand, all decked out in fun pastel shades. On top of that, their products won't cost you an arm and a leg, so you can feel good about your life choices, all while not spending a huge amount.

The  BYBI Beauty Strawberry Booster is suitable for combination, dry, normal and oil skin types, and meant for babes looking to target dry, dull skin, and this is made up on 100% natural strawberry seed oil. Additionally, this is mean to help protect the skin against environmental aggressors, such as pollution. This comes in an opaque pink bottle with a dropper applicator and gold lettering. I have to say, I'm might have gotten a dud, but sadly, the dropper doesn't work for me at all - no matter how much I press, it doesn't seem to suck any product up into the glass dropper bit at all.

This means that I have to pour a little bit out into the palm of my hand, and that has gotten messy a couple of times. This smells like an oil, rather than having a particular scent, and I do love how it feels on my skin - rich without leaving the skin feeling tacky or greasy, and great for that hit of moisture, especially when the face has been feeling a little dry. It's a pretty affordable for $26 for 15 ml, so you don't have to commit to something too big. You can find it over here at Sephora
