Review: L'Oreal Revitalift Filler 1.5 % Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Is anyone else experiencing dry skin issues now that we're indoors more often, and the days are getting cooler? I've heard a few people discussing this as an issue, and I'm putting my hands up in agreement - I'm totally experiencing this, and I've found something to help combat this!

Welcome to reading all about the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum! This comes in a glass dropper bottle that has a nice heft to it. The bottle is a light purple, and being that it's see-through, you can keep track of how much you have left in as you go along, which is handy for making sure you know when you need to pick up more! The dropper has a decent suction, which means that you can get out the right amount (and then some) of product by squeezing it.

The serum is clear, and while it has an almost viscous texture to it, where you'd imagine that it would be sticky, it actually isn't. This is thin, and gets absorbed under 10 seconds! Essentially, once you spread this all over the face, it sinks in, boosting the moisture level of my face. I love that my skin does feel and look smoother and plump and with very little effort on my part!

The issue that I run into with this is that it doesn't tend to mix very well with my morning base product, which is a BB cream by La Roche Posay. When put together, it balls up and rubs off the skin, making it difficult to apply the rest of my makeup. Hence, I do only tend to use this in the evening, or during the day when I'm not intending to go out with makeup on.

I love this serum, and I intend to finish the whole bottle! This has also inspired me to actively try more L'Oreal skincare, because I actually haven't delved into the brand for skincare quite as much as I have more makeup! And I don't know why, because I certainly seem to like their skincare products when I do use them (I'm looking at you, L'Oreal scrubs!), so I'll just have to keep an eye out for goodies from them that I want to slather on.

What's been your favourite L'Oreal skincare discovery?
