Review: Poni Cosmetics Brow Love

Oh my God, what is it about Poni Cosmetics that I love? Is it the packaging? The name? Or simply that the products seem to work on me? Seriously, if you're in the market for some awesome new brow pencils, then you're going to need to read this!

Ok, so Poni Cosmetics has been kicking around for a few years now, and they are seriously known for their brow products. They also have a liquid liner (which I surprisingly haven't tried yet) and mascara, as well as a brow gel in their artillery of makeup weapons, not to mention the other gems, such as the cheek products, colour changing lip balm and various other brow related goodies.

While their brow pomades, available in a number of different shades, and their brow powders have been on the market for a few years, as has their Brow Magic, which is their universal brow pencil (basically a one size - or really, colour - fits all type brow pencil), this is the first set of brow pencils that they have that comes in a total of 5 shades. This means that if you'd prefer a colour more suitable to your hair shade, or skin tone, and one that you can travel with, then this is perfect for you!

I was a massive fan of Brow Magic, and ran through the PR sample I received before I purchased one of my own, and I have to say, their new Brow Love has blown me away again! This comes with a spoolie on one end, and the pencil on the other, which is pretty standard.  I like that the pencil has a slant to it, which makes it easy to direct.

It's hard to be too heavy handed with this, so even with the darkest shade, I haven't been able to achieve what my mother calls my 'fierce brows' (not a compliment, by the way) - which is to say that it's actually difficult to get them so dark that it's scary looking. Instead, this imitates more of a gentle, natural looking type brow - so easy to use, and hard to overdo.

These retail for $26 each, and I love that the packaging is a metallic, shiny hot pink - almost impossible to lose in your handbag! The next time you're looking to lift your brow game, you should check out Poni, because I have literally liked every product I've ever tried by them, and that's saying a lot! You can find more about their range over here. Also, make sure that you try their White Knight Mascara - that mascara is seriously good!

Have you tried anything from Poni Cosmetics before? What's your favourite from them?
