Review: Milk & Co Body Scrub and Invigorate Me Body Lotion

I've been loving the Milk & Co Body Scrub and Invigorate Me Body Lotion, and I can't believe it's taken me so long to write about them! Let's have a little chat about them!

Who exactly is Milk & Co, and what do they do? The brand stems from the Olympic swimming champion, Michael Klim, who started off by creating a men's range, and it all snowballed from there! The products featured here are paraben free, vegan and made in Melbourne with 100% recyclable packaging and best of all, these are cruelty free!

Enough about them, though, what about the products? Let's start with the Body Scrub! This contains coconut shell, rosehip oil and turmeric, as well as lavender, rice bran, geranium oil and cinnamon powder. Combined, these are meant to help by removing dead skin while smoothing it, and also have antioxidant properties. It all sounds a little fancy, but what I do love about it is that it's as straightforward as it gets! At the very core of it, it is a lovely and gentle scrub with a higher liquid to scrub kernels ratio, and the scent of it reminds me of something peppery, which I think is the tumeric and geranium oil combination. It leaves me feeling smooth and refreshed - a great sensation after a 13 hour day, sometimes!

Once I'm out of the shower, I follow it up with the Invigorate Me Body Lotion. This contains caffeine, black pepper, aloe vera and jojoba oil, and these are meant to stimulate blood circulation while moisturising the soothing the skin. This also has additional avocado oil, vitamins A, B1, B2 and B5, as well as safflower seed oil. This stuff has a relatively thick consistency that gets thinner and more pliable as you work it. It takes about 2 minutes for it to be absorbed to a level where I'm comfortable to put clothes on, which can be a little longer than I'd like in the Winter, but, the upside of that is that also moisturizes my skin really nicely! Take that, Winter skin!

They both retail for $14.95 each, and come in a relatively generous bottle containing 375 ml of product with a pastel purple cap and a flip lid. The bottles themselves are translucent, which just means that you can see how low you're running and when to grab a new set!

You can find out more about Milk & Co over here, and I recommend that you try them for yourselves to see how you feel about it! What's your favorite Winter post shower lotion?
