Review: Edible Beauty & Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil *

Edible Beauty has a gorgeous tagline - let's turn beauty inside out. They are all about putting your money where your mouth is - literally! The ingredients are of high enough grade that you could just about eat it. It is an ethical brand that is cruelty free. I mean, even the glass is recycled and made in Switzerland. Honestly, how cool is that?

This oil comes in a black glass dropper bottle with a minimalistic white label that goes around it. This is an organic face oil that contains Snowflower Seed Oil and Kakadu Plum, both of which have a lot of vitamin C in them, and these are meant to boost collagen production, as well as brighten the skin. Additionally, there is Emu Apple Seed Oil in it, which is meant to be an effective antioxidant. Jojoba See Oil and Banksia Seed Oil are included to reduce inflammation and maintain the suppleness of the skin.

The oil itself is clear and gets absorbed easily and quickly. I like that it doesn't leave a tacky sensation on the skin, and that my skin does look brighter right after it's application, not like a grease slick. This is both light, yet hydrating enough that it makes a difference to my skin when I don't use it.

What I do like about this particular oil is that I can use this both during the day and at night. It doesn't cause crazy makeup slippage, which is what I worry about when using oils in the day. Aside from using this on the face, this can also be applied to the hair and cuticles. This lovely oil retails for $68 and can be found online or instore at Sephora Australia.

What oil are you loving right now? Have you heard of Edible Beauty before?
