Review: Nailene So Natural Manicure Kits *

I love a good set of nails on me, but I don't always have the patience to sit around with wet nails, dry drops or not. I also don't always have lovely nails, as I have a job that necessitates me washing my hands extremely regularly. As an alternative, stick on nails can really make a difference, and as such, I've been rather enjoying the manicures I've managed to obtain with these babies from Nailene!
These kits come with 28 nails, which makes it 14 pairs, as well as 1 thing of glue, 14 adhesive tabs as an alternative to the glue, 1 manicure stick and a buffer, which means that you can prep your nails and do it all with this kit!

There are a total of seven designs, and these are:
1) Nude Matte
2) Nude High Gloss
3) Pink High Gloss
4) Taupe High Gloss
5) Light Grey High Gloss
6) Mint High Gloss
7) Dark Grey Matte with French Gloss Tip

I was sent three different shades, and for Winter, I went with this gorgeous dark grey matte with the french gloss tip, just for something different. I love the matte look on long nails, and that's exactly what I got with this!

I used the adhesive tabs instead of the glue, because I wanted a bit of a fuss free application, and it worked really well! All I had to do was place the adhesive tab on my buffed and filed nail, take the non-sticky bit off, then smoosh the nail on and hold it for a little bit, then repeat it for the next nine nails.

The hardest part of using these? Matching them up into pairs so that you can pick which ones go with which! For $16.99, you will be able to find them at Big W, Kmart, Coles, Woolworths and pharmacies.

Seriously fuss free, and took me all of 10 minutes to apply. My one piece of advice? Pick up the adhesive tabs with tweezers, or there might be a lot of swearing involved!

Have you tried any Nailene products previously? What's your favourite?

  1. I've never come across fake nails in designs like this before (not that I really look that hard in the nail section). The dark grey matte ones look great on you!

  3. I've tried stick on nail once, and couldn't go past the odd sensation when I'm peeling them off. I couldn't use stick on nails after that day! They look so flawless though!! you hand looks beautiful :)

  4. They look great! I've only tried the Press 'n' go nails and have had mixed results with them. Do they damage your nails at all?

  6. I love these! i had an unfortunate incident with long acrylics over Christmas. My own nails were awful for such a long time. These were my saving grace. I particularly like the taupe ones. These matte greys look amazing too. With the nail glue they last me a good week, the little pads last a little shorter. Love them x

  8. Well now haven't adhesive nails come a long way since I last saw them! These look fab on you TP, and I'm delighted to read that Barbe likes them too. I'm going to Coles tomorrow and will def check them out - I don't paint my fingernails as I can't bear chipped polish and I have NO TIME to maintain them. These look like a simple (and cheap) alternative - thanks doll! xxx
