I love that I've recently had the chance to talk about perfumes and how they make me feel! Welcome to the third post about perfumes and their corresponding outfits! You can see the first two posts over here and here.
Today's spotlight is on a lesser discussed perfume - Knot by Bottega Veneta. The entire setup of the perfume is as understated and stunning as the bottle itself. This has their signature knot, which can be found on their bags, as the cap. The amber liquid sits neatly in a clear bottle, and overall look matches the scent.
You'll find the following notes in this fragrance:
Top notes: Clementine, mandarin, lime, neroli and orange blossom
Heart: Peony, white rose and lavender
Base notes: Musk and tonka
This is a clean, crisp scent that brings sunny days to mind, strolling through a field in the country on a blue sky day. As such, the perfect outfit that matches this scent is this:
The outfit is fun and can be worn as a short dress, or as a tunic over a pair of shorts with some cowboy boots. There are also some pockets (and who doesn't love pockets!) and a tie to go around the waist. My favourite part of this is the surprising lift you get at the end of the scent - go ahead and have a sniff if you're curious about what I'm talking about!
This retails for $165 for 50 ml and can be found at David Jones.
Stay tuned, because I have a killer combination coming up to round this series off!
What's your go to Summer scent?
