Review: Hair & Me Intense Repair Hair Mask *

This weather has been relatively intense, and thanks to a variety of different plane trips recently (not to mention my stress), my skin AND my hair have both been suffering a little bit, drying out and looking sad.
While this may not have been the miracle cure I would have loved for my skin, the Hair & Me Intense Repair Hair Mask has been great for my tresses!

This is meant to soothe dry and irritated scalps, moisturise and strengthen the hair and boost blood flow to encourage natural hair growth.

This is easy to use, and given that it's quite flat, it's easy to store on my crowded shower caddy. It's a pre-shampoo treatment that you pop onto wet hair, wait for 10 minutes, then shampoo twice to get off. It's incredibly rich, given that it contains shea butter, argan oil, peppermint oil, which gives it that scent, coconut oil, and avocado oil.

Does it work? I can't speak for the hair growth aspect of it, but it does seem to soften the hair and soothe the scalp. Just be careful what shampoo you use this with, because I tried it with two shampoos, and one of them didn't feel like it cut through the treatment quite as efficiently.

Each pack will set you back $18 and is meant to last up to 3 to 5 uses. I've used this about 3 times now, and I suspect I will be able to elk it out to a total of 5 times.

Would I use it again? Sure! I enjoyed the smell of it in my hair, and the feel of my hair afterwards. It's worth a try, particularly for those keen on oil treatments.
