I had the luck, recently, to win a ticket to attend an event held at Sephora in Sydney. It was a brunch with Ole Henriksen, and there were 19 other lucky ducks who had the chance to be present as well.
Due to my inability to get my shit together on a Saturday morning (why, oh why, do I insist on sleeping late on the weekends?), I arrived as the brunch was well underway, but I did manage to grab a very healthy looking drink, and even got the chance to mingle with some of the lovely ladies there.
Incidentally, Ole made the rounds and was incredibly friendly! Which, let's be honest, made me feel like buying tons of his products, simply because he was so very nice! Also, for a 63 year old, his skin just GLOWED, which made me want to just stuff a ton of products into my shopping basket!
We were given our assigned seats and that's when things got really fun. Chloe and Ole went through a few questions, and he was just so enthusiastic and pumped about skin care - it was just fun to sit back and watch everything that took place.
Chloe looked amazing and was also very lovely. I liked that, despite the fact that she's got a huge following, she was really warm and had a great laugh. She ran through a number of questions with Ole, and had some excellent points to make. Also, it didn't hurt that she liked Daniel Craig!
A few of us in the audience even got the chance to ask some questions. I asked about using face masks, and he reckoned that a weekly usage would be sufficient.
I was just so chuffed to have had the chance to take pictures with the two of them - it was an unbelievably great way to kick start my weekend!
Of course, we were also given goodie bags at the end of the event, and I was itching to have a look at what's inside! Luckily, Ole went through everything in the bag and gave us instructions on how to use everything in them,
Have you tried anything from the Ole Henriksen before? What's your favourite?
