Review: TBH (The Biofilm Hack) Rebound Serum

This year has already been massive when it comes to travelling for me - I've been zipping everywhere, and it has been glorious! In a bid to try and reduce how much I'm spending, however, I've actually been rethinking how much plane hopping I should be doing. Watch me walk that back in a couple of months when I get itchy feet! There is at least another upside that I should consider in not travelling as much, and that is my skin not freaking out, being exposed to dry air inside an airplane cabin.

For the times when I'm naughty, trying to live out my jet setting lifestyle (and let's be honest for a second, can it really be counted as jetsetting when at least half of the flights are Jetstar ones, bought on sale for a pittance? And absolutely no massive shade to Jetstar, because when they work well, they truly do, but let's face it, just about every Australian that's ever flown with them has experienced an interesting pre-flight/flight/post-flight issue and the stories I could tell - oooh, baby - and that's even with knowing how everything works when flying a budget airline), it helps to maintain your skin with  a routine that can help support it appropriately.

This is where the Rebound Serum from TBH comes in! For those not in the know, TBH, which stands for The Biofilm Hack, is a brand born from Hannah English, a pharmaceutical scientist, content creator and author who loves sunscreen, and honestly, how can you not adore that? I also love that the Rebound range is all about supporting the skin barrier to create a healthier environment for the skin, resulting in a happy complexion. I know that a lot us get excited about active ingredients, but too often, we don't place enough importance on maintaining or enhancing what we already have, so that the active ingredients can do even more for us.

I know that doesn't sound as exciting as something that might be life changing for your skin, but trust me, a good skin barrier is super important! The TBH Rebound Serum has been made to help calm angry, irritated skin by reducing the appearance of redness and inflammation, while supporting damaged skin. This is meant to be suitable for all skin types, including oily and sensitive skin. It comes in an opaque bottle with a gradient seafoam to coral packaging, and you can pull the cap off easily. The pump works really nicely, and I find about two pushes to be sufficient for my face and neck.

This doesn't contain a scent, and it's easy to spread and massage into the skin. I love that this doesn't leave my skin feeling tacky - rather, it sinks into the skin nicely. I've noticed, in using this during a bit of a transitional period this time of year, it's been helping me keep the baseline for my skin, as this tends to be when my eczema might flare up, and there hasn't even been a hint for it! This is currently available at Priceline for $49.95. While not a total game changer for me, as it more maintains than adds to what I have, it's no less important for me to use! It's definitely worth forking out some dough for! What are you doing to help maintain your skin?
