Review: Spascriptions Anti-Aging Collagen Spa Treatment Mask

 

Who doesn't love a good face mask? I know I do! The only other thing I love more than a good face mask is a good face mask that is affordable - and I think I may have just a thing that fits into that niche in the market. I'm talking about the Spascriptions Anti-Aging Spa Treatment Mask, and how my skin is responding to the repeated use of this product!

The Spascriptions Anti-Aging Collagen Spa Treatment Mask boasts fun ingredients, such as glacier water, collagen and hyaluronic acid, which all sound a little fancy, but will only set you back by $9.99 for a pack of five sheet masks, averaging about $2 per mask. This begs the question, of course, how much can a budget buy actually help your skin?

As it turns out, it does seem to help, it would appear! Firstly, what do the ingredients mean? The glacier water is supposed to be a natural mineral cocktail that helps in restoring skin pH balance, while the collagen, which needs no introduction, can help in plumping skin, and the hyaluronic acid adds hydration to the skin. Gently unfold the mask from the sachet, and spread it over the skin, letting it work it's magic. If you have access to one of these, use a face massager to help drive the serum further into your skin. Let it sit on your face for 15 minutes before peeling it from your skin, and patting the remaining product into your skin.

The design of the mask itself is not the most user friendly - the lip gap is more of a slit, and the eye holes are placed a little too closely together. That said, it is a decent size without being too big, and covers the skin adequately, so I can forgive it for the slightly odd holes. This may actually also be a good one for people with small faces. 

After using this, I found my face to look quite moisturised and feel rather soft as well, and in all honesty, this totally served me very well when I needed a bit of skincare pick me up after rolling home at 3 in the morning. For that, I am very grateful, as it made me look like I was more awake than I truly was the following day!
