Review: Hask Micellar Water and Lotus Anti-Residue Shampoo and Conditioner
At a time when things are busy and you're juggling work stress/lack of work stress and pandemic anxiety, having a shower can seriously reset your mindset, and as such, say hello to something that could wash the negativity out of your life, if just for a few minutes. The Hask Micellar Water and Lotus Anti-Residue Shampoo and Conditioner are current staples in my shower caddy, and here's why.
Micellar water was all the rage for removing makeup, and still is, really, although there has been a significant shift to reusable pads in an attempt to reduce the amount of trash that we're contributing to the environment. The use of micellar water has since springboarded a whole new range of products, including this Hask duo!
What does it promise to do? Just as micellar water removes makeup and grime from the skin in a gentle manner, so does the Hask Micellar Water and Lotus Anti-Residue Shampoo and Conditioner. These gently lift dirt and oil from the hair and scalp, while the inclusion of lotus helps to strengthen hair and revitalise, adding shine to your strands.
The packaging is similar to that of the rest of the range, except that both bottles are clear, which means that you can at least track how much you have left in the bottles. The shampoo does lather up a little bit, and the conditioner's medium consistency means that you can spread this over the hair quite nicely. I love the smell of this range! I think it's the beautiful lotus that I can catch wafting through my hair as I swish it around. Most of all, I love how light my hair feels when it dries down, without any residue, nor does it get oily.
For $14.99 per bottle, I'm really keen on this range! You can find it at retailers that stock Hask, including Priceline.
What are your thoughts on micellar water? Do you feel like it's gotten really popular?
