New Release: Ardell Extension FX

A good reason to put fake lashes on may still be on hold, thanks to COVID-19, but with restrictions slowly being eased up, it won't be long before we start getting the glue ready for our fluttery friends once again! I love, love, love Ardell lashes (demi wispies and baby demi wispies FTW!), and when something new drops from the brand, you can bet your ass I'll be getting my hands on it!

So, what exactly is new from Ardell, and why am I excited? The magic of the Ardell Extension FX is that these are strip lashes created to resemble a fresh set of lash extensions, which means that you can look like you've just stepped out of the salon when you've actually just applied these yourself. It's also exciting, because with the salons being shut right now, I'm sure there will be a massive crowd surging into the salons and it could be a while before you're able to get an appointment, so this is handy!

Better yet is that Ardell obviously understands that we all had different eye shapes, and that it isn't a case of one size fits all. You just need to look at the curl, lash length and style to pick what's best for you! This means that whether you have round, almond, close set or deep set eyes, you can find something from the range to suit your needs. To break these down simply, its:
  • L-Curl - for lift and definition; for monolid or hooded shaped eyes
  • C-Curl - for elongation and widths; for round or close set shaped eyes
  • B-Curl - for an eye-opening effect; for deep set or almond shaped eyes
  • D-Curl - for an eye-widening effect; for almond or close set shaped eyes

I'm really excited about the L-Curl, because I think that will give me the most natural looking lash look, while the C-Curl will help provide some length to the eyes while making them look wider. Unlike eyelash extensions, which I loved back in the day, but can't really maintain, these are a lot more affordable at $12.99, and you can take them off once you're done with your day, without worrying about damaging them by smooshing your face into the pillow at night.

Are you dying to trot your falsies back out at this point, or are you secretly excited that they've been gathering dust for a while?
