New Release: Revlon Photoready Prime Plus Primers

It's so lovely to see Revlon back on the blog again! And for a good reason too, because they've come out with some absolute winners! Welcome to what happens when your makeup works as part of your skincare regime! These skincare inspired primers are crammed full of skin improving ingredients, so that you can have that makeup/skincare sandwich between your base and skincare.

Revlon has now produced three brand new and gorgeous primers:

  • Brightening + Skin-Tone Evening (yellow)
  • Mattifying + Pore Reducing (blue)
  • Perfecting + Smoothing (pink)
These are all colour coded, so that you can make sure you're picking up the right one to suit your needs! The Brightening + Skin-Tone Evening Photoready Prime Plus Primer contains lemon extract and vitamins C and E to help combat skin discolouration, while adding illumination to the complexion.

If you need something to match your oily skin, or if you've got concerns about enlarged pores, then the Mattifying + Pore Reducing Photoready Prime Plus Primer is your girl! This comes infused with artichoke extract, which I honestly don't think I've ever seen in skincare, much less makeup (or this skincare/makeup hybrid, really), salicylic acid and AHA.

And if you're worried about textural issues or fine lines, then the Perfecting + Smoothing Photoready Prime Plus Primer needs to be your pick .This is meant to help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles over time. This has hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 among the ingredients to help look after your skin.

These retail for $29.95 each, and each pump bottle contains 30 ml. I've been using the Brightening + Skin-Tone Evening Photoready Prime Plus Primer, and I'm really loving this. Good glow, great grip, and overall, a fantastic product. I'm actually trying not to use this up, because I'm really enjoying it! You can grab your very own bottle from Priceline, Chemist Warehouse and other retailers that stock Revlon.

What are your thoughts on these lovelies?
