Review: Purely Byron The Divine Collection

It's Monday, and it's time to get up, get moving and kick ass! I'm a big believer in me looking my best when I'm feeling good, which leads back to me feeling good and therefore, looking my best - it truly is such a cyclical situation, isn't it? And as we all know, looking our best always starts with the basics, and that comes down to good skin for me, and aside from my genetics working their hardest to help me out, good skincare can help enhance what I have, and the Purely Byron The Divine Collection has been such a dream to use!

You may recall seeing a post about Purely Byron a while back, which you can find over here. Just as a recap for those who may need it, Purely Byon is manufactured in the Byron Shire, and this cruelty free brand uses post consumer recycled, as well as recyclable, packaging. I received a number of products from them, including the Divine Ritual Balm. Having finished it back then, I was happy to receive another jar of it recently, because I've had a few colds and snuffly incidents, thanks to my Spring allergies, and it hasn't been entirely pleasant for the skin around my nose.

It's lovely to know that my previous statements about it still stands - the Divine Ritual Balm is nourishing, hydrating and has been very helpful for supporting my skin with it's nutrient rich formula, helping with a better skin barrier, so that it can be more resilient for longer. What I have be absolutely loving, though, is the Moisturiser. Designed to plump and hydrate the skin, this baby has been formulated with some interesting ingredients, such as L22™, which is a lipid complex, made up of oils like macadamia and jojoba, that's been shown to help keep the skin firm and hydrated, while also improving elasticity.

It also has Wildberry Harvest™, which is meant to help increase hydration by about four times to help the skin feel moisturised for longer. Additionally, there's also their proprietary Native Sunrise Blend, which is supposed to help condition the skin, and improve the overall appearance of the skin. The formula also includes hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera to keep the skin plump and supple. This comes in an opaque peach coloured tall, slim, cylindrical bottle with a pull off cap, and a pump that deposits a small amount with each push. I find about three pumps to be sufficient for my skin and neck, and I love that this gets absorbed really nicely, despite being quite thick to begin with.

The moisturiser is a cream peach shade that disappears once you've worked the cream into the skin, and it does thin about really beautifully with a bit of massaging. I've been using this twice daily, and I love that this doesn't seem to interact with any other products, making layering a breeze. I like that it's quite light, despite not looking it initially, and that it moisturises my skin beautifully without making it feel greasy or weighed down. I would definitely recommend using it if you're looking for something to help keep your skin moisturised and smooth. You can find out more about it over here. What would you recommend from Purely Byron?
