Review: Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Liquid Care Toner

How's everyone going with their Christmas shopping so far? Has panic set in yet? At work, we do a Secret Santa with a $40 limit, and I've been told, frequently, by multiple people over the years, that I'm allegedly difficult to buy for, whatever that means, so for those who may find themselves in a similar position to buying a present for someone like me, I apologise. All I can say is just listen to your gut, and you'll find something that resonates with them!

And if all else fails, consider putting together a little hamper of something whimsical and fun for them, and add some heartfelt notes for additional effect, telling them why you chose that particular thing - I'm sure that the thoughtfulness of your gift would blow them away! If you're still stuck, and wanting some inspiration for a skincare hamper, then stick around, because I'm about to talk you through an affordable, and lovely, toner that you may want to add to the collection!

The Vitamin C Brightening Liquid Care Toner is one of the most delicious products I've tried from Garnier! In fact, I've loved everything I've tried from them so far, and there are more reviews to follow, so make sure that you stay tuned for what's to come. If you're looking for more information on the Vitamin C range by Garnier, you can find it over here. Now, where does the Vitamin C Brightening Liquid Care Toner sit in your routine? This is to be used after cleansing, and before your serum. This is supposed  to make the skin look brighter, smoother, and improve the tone.

The formula is infused with a 10% blend of glycerin, niacinamide, Vitamin C and Salicylic Acid. Together, these work to hydrate, exfoliate and improve your glow, all while helping the appearance of dark spots. It comes in a tall bottle with a flip lid, making it easy to get the product out. Interestingly, this doesn't have your typical watery consistency. Instead, this is thicker, and more similar to that of a serum. This vegan and cruelty free toner, which manages to stay light weight, still manages to get absorbed relatively quickly, and it doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky or unpleasant.

I have been applying this twice daily to my skin, and this is immediately lovely on the skin, but that aside, it actually does seem to be helping my skin look a little bit brighter. I love that this is almost like a second serum, and that it seems to agree with my skin. It is a very accessible $22 for 120ml of product, and even more so when you can get it for half price, depending on when and where it's on sale. You can get all the details about this on the Garnier website. Does this sound like the type of toner that you'd use?
