Review: Innisfree Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Toner

As a new day dawns, I really hope that while I was out last night, I behaved myself and didn't overindulge! It was the finals for Miss Pole Dance Australia yesterday, and I definitely would have had a few drinks! For those who don't know about Miss Pole Dance Australia, it is the most iconic competition for pole dancing here in Australia, and it runs on the first weekend of November every year, and it showcases some of the most incredible and talented babes in the industry - we're talking strong, flexible queens who can take your breath away with their performances. It's one of our favourite events to go to annually, and we're already looking forward to the next one!

At least I can stay smug in the fact that while I might have a bit of a headache, in addition to feeling drowsy all day, my skin continues to glow, and the Innisfree Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Toner has been helping me with that. Designed to help with dry skin and bumpy texture, this is said to be exfoliating, while still looking after the skin barrier, keeping it calm. If you're hoping for the soothing scent of green tea, you'd be disappointed, as this is fragrance free, and it's meant for all skin types.

The formula contains five (FIVE!!!) kinds of hyaluronic acid to keep that skin really well hydrated, and this is also infused with 7%  PHA and green tea enzyme to help refresh the skin by removing dead skin cells gently. It also has probiotics to help protect the skin barrier, keeping your skin more resilient over time, as well as panthenol to soothe it. This comes in a translucent cylindrical bottle with a screw cap, and once you take it off, there's just a little opening that the product can be poured through.

To use this, I simply tap it couple of times into the palm of my hand, then pat it into my skin until it dissipates. This truly is fragrance free, and I appreciate that this doesn't have a cooling effect on my skin, as my skin has been through a lot recently, and the less stimulation it gets, the better - it's just going through a bit of a sensory time. Like most toners, this has a very watery consistency, and I love that it only seems to rake seconds to be absorbed.

I love that this seems to help hydrate and prep my skin for the rest of my skincare journey ahead, and that it's been a lovely and mild toner for me this Spring. While not life changing, this feels like a great addition to my rotation, and it's easy to love. This retails for a very reasonable $29, and it is extremely easy to obtain here in Australia, given that this is stocked at multiple retailers, including Adore Beauty and Priceline. What is your favourite Innisfree product?
