Review: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Triple Action Moisturising Day Cream and Tri-Peptides Serum
Happy Sunday to all my babes! I hope you've enjoyed the drop in temperatures, after the shockingly hot days that we got to experience here in Sydney! I, for one, have really loved sitting with a blanket on my lap, blogging away, with the window open. It's been nice to have cool nights back for a while, with the promise for much warmer days ahead. While it's been cool, however, it hasn't been quite as dry, and I've been reaching for products from the L'Oreal Revitalift Laser range, and it's been a gorgeous couple of additions for my skin.
The Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum is meant to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, smooth out fine lines, plump and firm up skin, while also improving the texture, resulting in radiant, stunning skin. This helps you kick those skincare goals with their triple-peptide blend, mixed with hyaluronic acid and Vitamin Cg, which is a stable form of Vitamin C, and helpful for battling free radicals. Ingredients like Synake and Matrixyl peptides, as well as Argireline, are what's responsible for improving the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
I love that this has quite a lightweight, watery and smooth texture, making it an easy product to absorb. This comes in a dark red tall bottle with a dropper applicator, and the suction works nicely, dispensing a decent amount each time. This has a light scent to it, and I love that this doesn't leave my skin feeling tacky. My skin looks a little firmer with it's use, and the fine lines seem to be kept at bay, and this doesn't react with any other products I've been layering over it, including the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Triple Action Moisturising Day Cream. As a combination, my complexion is definitely emerging as the winner!
The Revitalift Laser Triple Action Moisturising Day Cream comes in similar packaging - a dark red jar with a metallic purple grey screw lid, and this makes it easy for the user to both gauge how much there is left in the jar, as well allowing the person to get the cream out without any issues. I love that this has a creamy scent to it, and that it spreads over the skin, like butter on hot toast, and that it gets absorbed in a breeze. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft, and this isn't heavy at all - it treads the fine line between being creamy and hydrating, without being heavy and cloying.
Much like the serum, this contains all of the same ingredients, and I love that this combination has been helping my skin look and feel beautiful. L'Oreal is one of those brands that's stocked just about everywhere, and it does go on sale regularly, so it's worth checking various retailers to see who has it on special before purchasing them. The cream retails for $55, while the serum sits at around $60. Overall, a winning duo that my skin has been appreciating! What have you tried from L'Oreal lately, and what do you want to see them release?
