Review: Hairification H24 Complex Leave-In Repair Mask

I'm going to give you a potentially controversial piece of advice that I know I sure as heck wouldn't have followed if I'd heard it 20 years ago - don't start dyeing your hair, because it's totally addictive and you'll never stop doing it! I know, given what my hair has looked like over the last few years, going from pink to purple to blue to an ash blonde copper red shade, I so would do it again, and no amount of someone telling me no would stop me. That said, I'm definitely paying for it in the split ends and dry strands department! These babies could use a little pick me up, and I've been doing just that with Hairification.

I was really pleased with what I tried from the brand previously, and wanted to give them another go, sow when I spotted the Hairification H24 Complex Leave-In Repair Mask, I clicked 'Add to cart' so swiftly, it gave my credit card whiplash. So, what is H24, and why should you try it? This is meant to help reverse hair damage in just 4 minutes! This is a leave-in repair hair mask that is supposed to strengthen your hair, repair, hydrate and protect it by penetrating the hair shaft and building bonds, locking in moisture.

It's also supposed to prevent breakage and fight frizz, while protecting the hair against heat styling from hot hair tools and UV damage. To do so, this has a list of patented ingredients to help give you your next good hair day. There is Fibrehance, which is what's responsible for building bonds within the hair structure to help give it strength, so that it can be less brittle, and better a withstanding any attacks (ie further damage). There's also Procutigen Bond, which is meant to reinforce the hair fibres, reducing breakage and moisture loss.

Col-Frag is there to keep the hair hydrated and smooth, so that your hair can be more manageable. Last but not least, there's also Elaya Renova, which is what protects against the heat from styling tools and UV damage. The instructions are simple - rub 1 to 3 pumps between the palms of your hands until it thins out a little bit, then distribute it evenly through damp hair, letting it sit for four minutes before putting anything else on it.

This comes in a white bottle with a red cap, and I find 4 pumps to be what works best for my hair. I love that this seems to have a sandalwood scent to it, which sadly doesn't seem to last. I love that it does seem to make my hair a little less frizzy, but my hair isn't any softer or more manageable than it was previously. I have noticed, though, that it's not as crispy and takes a shorter time to bounce back when I've tortured it with my curling wancd - essentially, it does seem to be able to take my assaults a little better, which is great! In terms of bang for your buck, I find $20 for 50ml of product to be very reasonable, and Hairification can be found at various places, including Priceline and Adore Beauty. Does your hair need to be rescued from you and all that you do to it??
