What My Hair Is Lovin' - Alterna Caviar Repair Fill & Fix Treatment Masque *

Last year, I discovered the joys of hair masks, and I haven't looked back! Since then, I've been experimenting with various hair masks, from those that you put on prior to getting into the shower to those that you pop on while you're busy shaving your legs. Hair masks - great for multi-taskers everywhere!

This particular hair masque comes in a solid jar with a screw top lid, and the product itself is a thick , white paste, which can be easily massaged into the hair. This is meant to contain encapsulated microbeads that help to restructure the hair and smooth the cuticles while filling in all the little gaps.

All you have to do is put this through clean, damp (but not dripping) hair, leave it alone for 3 minutes, wash it out and you're sorted! How straightforward is that? Great for the time poor as well - who says you can't take care of your hair when you barely have time to brush it?

In the time that I've used it, I have noticed a definite difference between just using my conditioner and this hair masque. The hair is softer, and less prone to frizzing up when I roll out of bed. Does it really repair? I don't know, but I do feel that my hair is benefiting from this!

Alterna is parabens, sulphates and phthalates free, which they started excluding before it was a trendy thing for brands to do. Alterna also states that they do not test on animals, which is something I do like about the brand.

You can find the range in Sephora.

Have you tried anything from Alterna? Would you be keen to give it a go?

    1. I do too, which is why it's getting out of control in the shower caddy at the moment!
