New Release: Rimmel The Only One Lipsticks *

Happy Valentine's Day! Today, we're discussing a product that you might find useful as you're getting ready for your date. I will admit, at heart, I've always been a lippie girl. Sure, I have my moments with blushes, eyeshadow palettes and nail polishes, but lip products will win me over every time. This is why, on the heels of their relatively recent pretty nude collection, I wasn't expecting any lippies from them any time soon, but I'm so excited that they could prove me wrong!

This range consists of a total of 12 shades, which is pretty decent for a new collection, but not good enough when the formula is so smooth! Can you tell that I'm a big fan of this new set? To celebrate having this range out, Rimmel has also added 3 extra shades to their Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Line collection, which is pretty exciting!

This range is both moisturising and pigmented, and this essentially means that this sits well on the lips and is creamy enough to spread over the lips again once you've managed to remove some with a couple of drinks. Believe, I've put it through the rigours! This is a bonus - you don't have to reapply too often! Also, I have yet to experience flakey or dry lips after using this, which is pretty amazing.

Housed in a shiny black plastic case with slanted cap, it's really quite pretty, but a little clunky. It's distinctive shape makes it easy to find in your bag, however.

While I have found this to not stain the lips as much as I would have thought, there is enough of a subtle colour that still sticks around. What I do love about this is how comfortable they really are, and while you think that this might lead to feathering and bleeding around the lips, I haven't found this to be the case at all. These also have a semi-glossy finish, which means there's enough of a shine to catch your eye, but not in a showy fashion.

Top to bottom:It's A Keeper; Naughty Nude; Easy Does It; Pink A Punch; Listen Up!; Revolution Red

I cannot tell you how much I love these lippies! I've literally been wearing these everyday since I got them, and I don't see myself putting them down anytime soon. I can see why it's called The Only One lippie, because this is a bit of an all rounder product.

You can pick them up for $15.95 each at Big W, Priceline, Kmart, Chemist Warehouse and Target.

Are you tempted to try these babies out? What's your favourite shade?
