Review: Nude by Nature Pressed Mineral Cover *

This makes me look fllllllaaaawwww-less! I know it's silly to say so, considering that foundations are meant to cover up your imperfections in order to provide a canvas to start all of your beauty must dos, but I have found some powder foundations that almost highlight a number of imperfections, including pores, which, let's face it, aren't things that most of us would like showing after the application of foundation.

I'm happy to report that I haven't had this issue with this lovely Nude by Nature Pressed Mineral Cover Compact! It's meant to give you medium to full coverage and given my Asian complexion, I opted for the shade for medium skin tones out of the five hues available. It comes in a typical compact with a mirror and a little padded case to keep it safe.

Nude by Nature is a cruelty free brand and is meant to be suitable for sensitive skin. This particular product is also talc, bismuth and fragrance free. Aside from what they don't have, what it does have s a variety of goodies for your skin, including Kakadu plum, vitamin E, avocado oil, jojoba oil and shea butter.

This is meant to have good coverage for up to eight hours, and illuminate the skin, which is probably why I'm not certain if it's meant to have a dewy or matte finish, but 'm leaning towards dewy. It does a good job of giving me a flawless finish, which lasts just about all day on my normal skin.

If you're after something that gives you a smooth and gorgeous base, then this is for you!

This baby retails for $39.95 and can be found where Nude by Nature is sold, including Priceline. I'm really happy with how this sits on my skin, and I love how well it travels too!

Have you tried anything from Nude by Nature before? Do you like mineral make up?

  1. Oooh this sounds interesting. I got gifted a Nude by Nature loose powder foundation and I don't mind it actually. I hated it years ago but I've changed my mind lol.

    1. I like that this is a pressed powder, though! It's a lot less messy.

  2. I am so intrigued by foundation in powder form. I feel like it would be drying on me, but I'd have to try it to see how it works. It boggles my mind a bit! I haven't had much experience with Nude by Nature, am keen to try some of their products though. :)
