Current Mask(ed) Heroes

I love a good mask - because, honestly, who doesn't? Aside from my usual sheet masks, I also love them in jars, tubs, tubes and bottles, oh my!

Here's what's currently on rotation:
1) Ole Henriksen Blue/Black Berry Enzyme Mask - I love this mask for a soothing something after a long day. I find that this helps on days when my skin has seen a bit of sun and stress. Soothing and smoothing! My current fave.

2) Natio 10 Minute Brightening Mask - This causes a bit of tingling and for some reason, probably the consistency, it makes me think of mayo, and not in a bad way. The skin is brighter for using it, and it is easy to spread on the skin. And it comes in a pump bottle!

3) Delicious Skin Smooth Exfoliating Mask - Honestly, this one is a little too much trouble for me. It comes as a powder that you have to mix with water to become a paste, and I mostly just make a mess, not a mask! While my skin does feel reasonably smooth after using this, that extra step is just a little too troublesome for a lazy girl like me!

4) Rodial Super Acids Extreme Hangover Mask - This one is fun, because it comes out a pale green and dries down, so you can scare your cat when he's trying to poke his nose in your business! This does cause a bit of tingling, and I feel like this has been keeping my skin quite clear and happy.

What masks are you using right now? What would you buy again?

  1. I know exactly what you mean when you have to add that extra step with some masks like adding water. I've got a bunch of powder masks just waiting to be opened but can't be bothered! That natio mask sounds good!

  2. A nice selection! I haven't tried any of these brands, but my fav at the moment is dermalogica's chemical exfoliate... it gets rid of everything!!

  3. I love a good mask too! Try to do it maybe 2-3 times a week! At the moment I'm still sticking to my Lush Mask of Magnaminty!!

  5. Years ago I had a green face mask I use to put on and scare hubby with (green ones are great for scaring people/cats, aren't they?). I don't have particular fave at the moment, but your Ole Henriksen one sounds lovely!
