Review: Isntree Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner

Happy Monday, my babes! As I head into a new week, I'm also about to jet off on an adventure! I'm so excited about to some of my favourite babes, other vets that I went to University with, and we're just going to have a girly catch up week, where we're going to stuff our faces, relax in thermal pools and hike until our feet fall off. It's going to be so good to be with the people I love so very much. I'm very lucky to have a supportive and beautiful network of strong and incredible women who truly treasure me, and help pull me through difficult times. Your chosen family is as important as your blood family, and I hope you have those people in your life.

Other things that can be supportive include members of your skincare family, and today, we're discussing one of the most underrated products on the market, and that is the humble toner. For anyone who hasn't added a toner into their skincare routine yet - don't sleep on this! While classically toners have been used to prep your skin after cleansing it, prior to any other skincare steps, much like the rest of the beauty world, the uses for them are increasingly multifold, which means that in a competitive market, they now have to do so much more than what they were created for initially.

I've been using the Isntree Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner, and this has been surprisingly good. This is a toner that contains hyaluronic acid to help keep the skin hydrated, which is aided by something called Aquaseal™, and this is said to help improve the hydration of the skin, while also supporting the skin barrier. Additionally, there's witch hazel extract as part of the formula, which is known to help encourage the cell turnover cycle, resulting in the improvement of the skin texture. Additionally, there's also Chamaecyparis Obtusa leaf extract, which can help soothe the skin.

This comes in a large, clear bottle that contains about 300 ml of product, and there's a screw cap on it, making it quite secure. The down side of this, of course, is that the cap is round, and I have now lost count of the number of times it's rolled away from me, bouncing away and out of grasp each time it's dropped. It's not a deal breaker, just a little annoyance. This toner doesn't have a scent to it, and to use this, I simply pour a small amount into the palm of my hand before tapping it into my skin.

Given it's watery consistency, this gets absorbed in a flash. I love that this seems to help keep my skin a little better hydrated and clear, and that it doesn't cause any irritation to my skin. It retails for about $40, and for what you get for it, it's great bang for your buck! You can find this toner at various online retailers, including Olive Young and Stylevana. What's your favourite Korean toner?
