Review: ALPB Glutathione Niacinamide Ampoule Serum

It has been a shockingly rough couple of months for my sinuses. I don't know about you, but here in Sydney, I've definitely noticed a obvious uptick in the number of tissues I've run through to soothe my runny nose, every time I've been out of the house. That's not to say that I don't blow my nose when I'm inside, but I've certainly had to face more allergens while I've been out of the house. Thankfully, I've been able to placate my skin and keep my eczema at bay, so it hasn't had a chance to rear it's ugly head, and that's partly due to using the ALPB Glutathione Niacinamide range!

I'm not going lie, I've already finished the sunscreen, and while current rules prohibit me from telling you my views on it, it doesn't stop me from telling you that it exists, and that it's part of the range. I also got the chance to use the face mask, and it was a very pleasant experience. I will say, though, the real winner in the collection has to be the ALPB Glutathione Niacinamide Ampoule Serum. While packaged in an unassuming clear dropper bottle, looking very much like any other serum, it has been an absolute pleasure to use.

This serum has multiple properties, and is meant to brighten the skin, targeting dark spots, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, so that your complexion can glow and be more luminous. The glutathione packs a punch as a powerful antioxidant, protecting the skin from environmental aggressors and free radicals, helping to prevent premature aging, resulting in healthier skin. Niacinamide can help soothe the skin, reducing redness and inflammation, while also improving the appearance of pores, so that the skin can appear smoother, with a better skin barrier. Together, glutathione and niacinamide work in a synergistic fashion to help hydrate the skin without making it greasy, balancing oil production, so that it's suitable for all skin types, including babes with oily or combination skin.

The dropper in the cap has a great suction, making it easy to deliver a good amount (enough to cover the face and decolletage) into the palm of your hand each and every time. While a milky white in the bottle, this disappears when rubbed into the skin. It feels light, and it sinks into the skin with very little effort and time. I love that this doesn't leave any obvious residue behind, and my skin has definitely been reaping the benefits! My complexion is bright, and while my respiratory system can tell that there are plenty of allergens in the air, it feels like my skin hasn't quite gotten that memo.

The only real downside to using this is that it feels like I'll be running out of serum quite soon, but if it means that my skin can look good and feel smooth and unbothered, then there are no actual drawbacks to using this for me! It sits at a relatively affordable $27.95, and can often be found cheaper than that on various Kbeauty websites. For my first introduction to ALPB, this has been a really positive one, and it's a great maintenance serum. Have you tried anything from ALPB before?
