Review: Mesoestetic Sun Stick 100 Mesoprotech SPF 50+

I love Summer! Pool floats, sunkissed skin, ice cream, cold cokes with hot salty fries... there's so much to be excited about when the weather turns consistently warm. I can't say the same for the side effect of Summer this year, however. The bushfires remain on the forefront of our minds, and like many other people all over the world, I've been watching the news with avid, rabid interest, and I've been donating to causes and planning holidays for the areas that will need a hand for when the fires are over, and there is rebuilding of the community and spirits to be done.

A hot Summer also means having to be aware of making sure that you are covered in sunscreen whenever you leave the house. I know that there are plenty of people who are aware of the ageing effects of UVA and UVB rays, but there are tons of others out there who don't subscribe to this belief (WHY?), and I'm going to try and battle that to help change some minds!

I hear a lot of excuses for why people don't like sunscreen, from,"It's so greasy!" to "I don't like the smell.", and look, I get it, but things have advanced, and with time, progress has been made, and formulas have changed. So much so that for the time poor, there is literally no excuse, now that you can take your sunscreen with you on the go in the form on this little cutie patootie, the Mesoestetic Sun Stick 100 Mesoprotech SPF 50+!

This sunscreen comes in the form of a solid stick, which is actually quite small, and this makes carting it around a breeze. It came in very handy at a recent wedding, where the vows were exchanged outdoors, and despite the milder weather earlier in the day and the overcast sky, it was actually quite warm and there was a lot of glare. It applies smoothly, blends into the skin well, and disappears with barely a trace. The formula and shape allow for you to swipe it really easily across where the sun hits the skin, so you can always take protection on the go, and it's suitable for the face. Better still, it doesn't just act as a broad spectrum sunscreen, it also contains rosehip oil and something called collagen pro shield, which is meant to help protect collagen.

Find out more about it over here. Have you tried a solid sunscreen stick before?
