Review: Andalou Naturals CannaCell Glow Mask

If you're unfamiliar with Andalou Naturals, this is a very lovely brand that is carried in Priceline, and I think it's high time you get acquainted with it, particularly given that they have now released a line of products with a game changing ingredient!

Let's start with the packaging. Like a lot of the other masks from Andalou Naturals, this particular mask comes in an opaque jar with a screw top. Stamped on the top of the lid is a hemp leaf, because, you guessed it, this product incorporates ingredients such as hemp stem cells and organic hemp seed oils! This has an exfoliating enzyme, Vitamin C and aloe vera among it's other ingredients.

The product itself is a light green, and has a gel-like consistency. It doesn't dry down, so you can still move your face, and there is a little bit of tingling that happens as it works it's magic on your skin. The tingling, however, isn't particularly uncomfortable, which is good - enough to make me think it's doing something, and not so much it feels like my skin is on fire!

Once it has been washed off, the skin looks more radiant and feels supple and soft. I'm almost at the end of the jar, which should go to show how much I've enjoyed using it! This retails for $22.95, and each jar contains 50 g of product.

I've also been using their CannaCell Beauty Oil, which I've loving too! I'm pretty curious about the rest of the range, and I'm hoping that I'll get the chance to pick some up the next time they are on special.

Have you heard of the CannaCell Glow Mask before? What's your favourite Andalou product?

Being somewhat familiar with Andalou products, I was hoping that I would like the new Andalou Naturals CannaCell Glow Mask, and I'm happy to report that it is indeed the case! The mask comes in similar packaging to the other masks in the range in regards to size and packaging, except that this jar is opaque with a green metallic lid that has a marijuana leaf printed on it. That's very appropriate packaging, considering that this is made from hemp.

The product itself is of thick, jelly like consistency, and doesn't dry down when applied on the skin. It has also resulted in mild tingling of the skin while it's been on, but not to the point where it's uncomfortable. Results wise, it's definitely on the to buy list for me, because it has resulted in my skin looking brighter and more radiant. This totally gets two thumbs up from me!
