Review: Face of Australia Calypso Bay Collection
Aside from SALE, the other phrase that makes my heart skip a beat is LIMITED EDITION, and that's not hard to understand, I sure, given that us beauty bloggers live, breathe and eat - wait, scratch that - live, breathe and ache for brand new makeup. I know I do!
When I saw that Face of Australia had once again come up with a gorgeous set of nail varnishes, I knew that I had to have it! Calypso Bay captures the Summery feeling of sea breezes and palm trees - very seaside/beach paradise!
There is a total of eight shades in the collection, and they all have tropical holiday-esque names. These all also have a metallic sheen and are mostly great pastel shades.
Pirate's Booty is a yellow gold, which admittedly, isn't my favourite of the lot, but will likely go well with a bright dress. Morning Mimosa is a cute and very wearable pink - I like everything about this shade and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it!
Tropical Heat is a metallic mauve, a little grown up, but with a twist. Summer Breeze is a grey toned purple, which I suspect will be great for nights out,
Blue Lagoon is a pale blue, which lives up the it's name. Rainforest Rendezvous is a light metallic green, which I love, as there is nothing else like it in my collection.
A Mermaid's Tale is a light teal, and certainly sounds like it looks. Itsy Bitsy Bikini is a gorgeous purple, which puts a spin on sultry.
These babies retail for $4.95 and can be found in Priceline - yet another fabulous collection from Face of Australia!
Are you excited about this collection? What's your favourite shade?

Pirate's Booty may actually be my favourite, along with the teal Mermaid's Tail one. Metallic polishes aren't really my favourite, though they usually stamp nice over a light base if they're thick enough. Look forward to seeing some of these on your nails, I'm still a few weeks off being able to paint mine neatly lol
ReplyDeleteI still haven't had a chance to do any stamping yet!
DeleteSo perdy!! Will definitely be checking these beauties outllđŸ˜€
ReplyDeleteAs you should! They are too pretty to pass up!
DeleteI love this collection, I check it out everytime I'm in Priceline! The blue, purple and green ones are especially pretty! I think I'd get Blue Lagoon or Rainforest Rendezvous first :)
