Review: Rare Beauty Find Comfort Feel Seen Hydrating Body Mousse To Oil
Oh, the Monday after being away is always the hardest, isn't it! I just have to hang onto all the good things, like how my next trip away is only a few weeks from now, and how while it was an amazing weekend, life generally is just pretty good, and it can only get better from here, right? There's always something around the corner waiting for me, and adventures ahead. Sometimes, like the weekend that I just had, my adventures may be big. Occasionally, they may be huge, like my upcoming Europe trip, and often, they will be small, but lovely, like days spent with friends, or trying something new, like the Rare Beauty Find Comfort Feel Seen Hydrating Body Mousse To Oil!
For those who may have heard of Rare Beauty, but aren't entirely familiar with them, this is the skincare and make up line founded by Selena Gomez, and it's truly a bit of a stunner. I've used a number of products from the brand, and I feel like each one that I've tried has been absolutely lovely! While I was shopping at Sephora this time, I wanted to find something that would leave my skin feeling silky smooth and soft, while not taking forever to get absorbed, and therefore allow me to put my clothes on as soon as possible, because, hello, Winter!
When I chanced upon the Rare Beauty Find Comfort Feel Seen Hydrating Body Mousse To Oil, I was itching to try it! This is marketed as a mousse with a lightweight, airy consistency that transforms into a whisper of an oil, and it's meant to help hydrate the skin for up to 8 hours, all while bearing notes of honeydew and a fresh ocean breeze. It's said to get absorbed in seconds, so that dehydrated skin can be nourished and fed, resulting in a healthy and radiant sheen that doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or sticky.
It uses blackberry leaf, which is chock full of antioxidants, to keep the skin firm, while strengthening the skin barrier, making it more resilient. It also has niaciamide in it, which is supposed to brighten and and even the skin tone, while pineapple crown extract is great for helping to support the skin barrier against things like environmental aggressors and pollutants. This comes in a blue/grey aerosol can with a pull off cap, and a wide nozzle that dispenses a whipped foam, ready to coat the skin.
I love that this mousse does have a slightly sweet, crisp fruity and floral scent to it, and that it smooths over the skin really beautifully. It doesn't leave a trace of residue behind, and this really does seem more of an oil once it's settled down, rather than a lotion. I'm loving this for the colder months, where it takes longer for everything to dry down, but it doesn't come for cheap. This sits at $54 for 150 ml, and you can grab your own bottle over here. What's the last thing you tried from Rare Beauty?
