Mini Lush Haul!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!
I spent the weekend hanging out with a friend on Saturday, then tidying up around the house like a good little wife on Sunday, in addition to doing my nails, so a very successful weekend!

I did, however, pop into Lush for a bit of shopping. Wait a minute, I can hear some of you thinking, what about your shopping ban, Princess? Well, you'll be happy to know that I was doing this not for me, but buying some soap for Mr Prince! We had a little discussion about his choice of toiletries (ie if he's happy to do a switch over to cruelty free products, provided that I buy them for him - Mr Prince isn't a fussy kind of guy), and as he was the one to initiate a switch to free range pork and bacon, and cage free eggs, he was happy to go along with things.

With his permission, I hopped into Lush to have a look at some products, and I lucked out with some half priced Snowcake, and I also bought a Sultana of Soap for him. While I was in store, I picked up a copy of their newsletter detailing the Valentine's Day specials, and I now have something to look forward to when I'm done with this shopping ban!

While I was out, I also ran across the new Essence range at Priceline, called Ticket to Paradise, which replaced the Justine Bieber collection (one collection that, can I just say, is still quite available at most Priceline stores, but no longer on display?) and this one has loud, whimsical colours, so much so that you can practically taste the rum coming out of a fresh coconut cocktail!

Thank goodness for the shopping ban!

Did you pick up anything in the post Christmas Lush sale? Will you be getting anything from the new Essence Priceline range?

  4. I'm sort of glad that I literally live hundreds of km away from a Lush store... I am forever seeing so many delightful products that I would love to try!
I love cheap Essence goodies but our local Target is crap! How does Essence go in the cruelty free ranks? Your ban will be over before you know it! :)

    1. Boo to sad looking Essence stands! According to their website, they are cruelty free! But it probably warrants a bit of a closer look, just to make sure. Thanks for the support!
