In celebration of Summer (despite being stuck indoors), I thought I'd do my nails in a set of bright colours. While my dexterity may be impaired, I managed to still do my nails, with plenty of resting in between. Here are the tools for my toes. I used the Essence top coat as usual, and the OPI bottom coat (love, love, love this!), and the OPI Liquid Sand nail polish in Jinx!
That's two coats of happiness right there! Incidentally, I also proved to myself that I could paint my toenails with my left hand. All of these hidden talents, crawling out of the wood work!
For my fingernails, I used the same top and base products, and broke out a new product that was sent to me by my sister who lives in New York. I believe most people are now aware that Sephora has stopped stocking the OPI line, and have replaced their former Sephora nail polishes with these brand new babies called Formula X.
Here's two coats of it! At first use, I was very impressed by how opaque I found it straight off the bat! It's also worn very well without chipping. There's also quite a good gloss and shine and it was really easy to get off the surplus from the sides.
This bright cherry red was also a bit of a holy grail colour for me - red, bright and happy and still ok for my skin tone!
That's my happy nails! What do you have on yours at the moment?
