Review: Gaia Skin Oil

It's been AGES since I've had the chance to try out a new body oil, so you can imagine how excited I was when I got the chance to trot out the Gaia Skin Oil a few weeks back! For those who may not be familiar with Gaia, this is a skincare brand that caters to both adults and kids, and I know several mums who really liked it for their babies, back when they were little. As an adult without children, however, I can tell you that the brand isn't limited to those with bubs, and I'm excited to talk to you guys about the Gaia Skin Oil!

This body oil is designed to help nourish the skin with it's gorgeous blend of natural and organic oils, specifically picked to assist in improving the elasticity and suppleness of the skin, particularly for those going through pregnancy and right after that. This contains organic camellia oil, which is a rich source of essential fatty acids, and this can help to hydrate the skin. This can help to alleviate the discomfort of dry and itchy skin that can come with growing a life within you.

This also has organic jojoba and rosehip oils, which can help to smooth the skin, fight free radicals, combat inflammation, and keep the skin looking bright and healthy. In doing so, they are meant to help improve the overall appearance of new and existing stretch marks. This also has organic avocado oil in it, which is supposed to relieve inflammation, moisturise and nourish the skin and promote collagen production.

To top it all off, this also has a blend of pink grapefruit and bergamot oils for their signature scent, and it translates as a fresh citrusy scent that has a hint of something sweet. This gorgeous oil comes in a clear glass bottle, which makes it easy to see how much you have left in it each time you pick it up. It also has a cute pink label on it, and this bottle is quietly easy on the eyes. The pump is efficient and produces a nice amount of each push.

This can be quite an oily oil, particularly if you're a little heavy handed with it, like I can be. When using this sparingly, this actually doesn't leave an oil slick behind on the skin, and I like how smooth my skin feels as a result of using this. Given that I have never been pregnant, I cannot attest to how this works on someone who's pregnant, but as a person who uses skin oils regularly, I definitely approve of this body oil! You can find out more about them over here, and grab a bottle of this over here. What have you ever tried from Gaia?
