Review: Emma Lewisham Supernatural Face Cream Riche

What on earth is in the water this week, and is it the weekend yet? With days of work looming ahead of me still as I try to get through the week and a half that I have left prior to my long weekend away (yay, girls' weekend in the Gold Coast!), I'm feeling a little like I've been treading water, and honestly, I can't wait until I'm literally treading water in Queensland, doing the backstroke until my worries and stress drift away from me. Until then, there's always the bathtub, I suppose!

So, now that we all know that I've been stressed about life/work/running out of things to watch on streaming services, let's talk about something wonderful that's entered my life recently, and that has to be the Emma Lewisham Supernatural Face Cream Riche! If you haven't had the pleasure of learning about the magic of Emma Lewisham, you really should read my previous post about the brand. Almost two years down the road from writing that, this New Zealand born skincare brand remains one of the best out there for striving to be carbon positive.

Now, if you're in the market for something rich and creamy that won't be packing the pounds on you, and that's only really because this is a topical product, not an oral one, then this should be one that's on your list! Designed to deeply moisturise the skin while helping to regenerate collagen, this can also help improve the appearance of fine lines and enhance skin clarity, leaving the skin supple and glowing. This contains 32 ingredients in order to achieve the above, including bakuchiol, specialised plant extracts, lipopeptides and lyaluronic acid.

This comes in a periwrinkle blue jar with a silver screw top lid, and once you open it, you'd be faced with a thick, luscious cream that takes a little bit of warming between the fingertips in order to thin it out sufficiently to be absorbed. I love that this doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy, and that I wake up to skin that feels smooth and supple. With the season being dry and cold, this has been helping my skin stay better moisturised, and I feel like it doesn't just last for the period of time that it's been on my skin, and instead, it has a knock on effect.

This cream retails for $140 for 50 ml of product, and it can be found at Mecca. This product is appropriate for vegans, which is great, and it feels like it truly nourishes my skin. Emma Lewisham is really a brand that you need to try - it's both gorgeous on the skin and they do their utmost to hold themselves accountable to Mother Earth.
