Review: Luk Beautifood Instant Glow Tinted Complexion Balm

We all love playing with makeup (after all, that's probably why you're here!), but of course, the foundation to having good makeup that looks great and stays put really comes down to looking after your skin in the first place. This leads to have your actual foundation (and everything else on top of it) looking smoother, staying better, and lasting longer. So, really, it all boils down to skincare when it comes to beauty, because this is how you can achieve a better makeup look overall.

Now, what happens when you are keen to wear makeup, and you don't want to compromise on making sure that your skin is looked after? Well, that's when you can look at trying out the new Luk Beautifood Instant Glow Tinted Complexion Balm, which is like a blend of both worlds, so that you can have a product that both looks after your face, while also having it enhance the appearance of your skin! This tinted moisturiser is a little powerhouse, and I can't love it enough!

The Luke Beautifood Instant Glow Tinted Complexion Balm comes in seven shades, and it boasts a number of different functions, including helping to even skin tone, smoothing the appearance of skin, all while helping to blur imperfections. This is meant to blend easily, giving you a flawless, glowy base that helps to brighten the skin, while also nourishing and hydrating the skin. On top of that, this is meant to protect the skin against blue light and prevent blemish formation. It helps in matching most skin tones by having near-neutral undertones and mineral pigments, which means that Nude 3 - Light Medium really does blend seamlessly with my skin, so that I end up with a dewy complexion that sits comfortably, and lightly, on my face.

It also contains olive-derived squalene, macadamia nut and jojoba phytosterols, as well as avocado, vitamin E and shea butter. This means that my skin doesn't dry out throughout the day, and it remains looking glowy. Kakadu plum, rosehip and pomegranate are present to help minimise fine lines, while also brightening the complexion. There is also a carotenoid complex and crambe abyssinica seed oil to help guard the skin against environmental stressors, as well as something called Quora Noni™, which is meant to keep the microbiome balanced, so that your blemishes can be kept at bay.

Of course, when it comes to Luk Beautifood, there is always the icing on the cake (because they do tend to push the boat out when it comes to their products) of it being beautifully and lightly scented with notes of rose, coriander, citrus and aromatic botanicals to lift your spirit. This truly is a beautiful product that's worth forking over money for, and sitting at $45, this is really affordable, particularly for a product that performs this well. Make sure to try this for yourself by grabbing it from their website. What was the last Luk Beautifood product you tried?
