Review: Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Eye Cream

I am a firm believer that the soft and fragile skin in the under eye area needs extra tender loving care, and that a good eye cream is essential to any girl's (or guy's) skincare routine. As such, finding an eye cream that does something for you is definitely a conversational piece, and one that I'll be indulging in today.

I've been scooping out little dollops of the Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Eye Cream over the last few months, and it has honestly been a dream on my skin!

Much like the mask that I did a review on a while back, which you can find over here, this is also steeped in 6 Hungarian botanicals, algae extracts, peptides, plant-derived lipids and caffeine, as well as thermal water sourced from a spring below Europe's Hungarian Carpathian Valley.

The consistency of this eye cream is thick, creamy and goes onto the skin smoothly. It seems to perk up my skin, making me appear more bright eyed and bushy tailed, and being rich enough that it also hydrates it sufficiently, leaving me with less obvious eye bags.

It's true what they say, the eyes really are the windows to the soul. You can tell how exhausted someone is when you look them in the eye, and let me tell you, this is helping me fake it until I make it - to the bed, that is!

Retailing for $75 for 15 ml in a screw top jar that has the same uniform appearance as the packaging of the mask itself, this eye cream is stunning and while pricey, worth every penny! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be browsing Sephora today, because it's my birthday, and I'm keen to spend my dough! If you're looking for me, I'll just be over here, casually pressing add to cart!
