Review: Medik8 Physical Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

There's nothing like living in Australia to remind you that you have to wear SPF every day, and Medik8 is here to help out all the babes that want to slip, slap and slop it on the face without that greasy feel.

The Medik8 Physical Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 comes in a clean white tube with a black flip top cap on the bottom, making it easy to get the product out. This product contains both Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, which are meant to physical filters that act as a shield against UVA and UVB exposure.

As a physical sunscreen, vs a chemical one, this works by reflecting radiation. It also has anti-pollution, anti-glycation and anti-infrared properties, thanks to the Marrubium Vulgare Extract, Carnosine and Thiotaine. These all work in synergy to battle anti-oxidants while preventing environmental damage and reducing signs of ageing.

The real question, though, is what everyone always wants to know - is it any good? Yes! This comes out as a relatively thick white cream, which is surprisingly easy to spread on the skin. This is fragrance free, and it doesn't leave a residue on the skin, being that it gets absorbed really quickly. I feel like it almost even has a matte finish, although it doesn't state so on the box or tube. This also doesn't interfere with my makeup application -  a definite winner!

This retails for $74 for 90ml, and you can find more information about this lovely little tube here. This is what wearing sunscreen without knowing that you're sunscreen feels like - great for all those out there who don't enjoy the smell of sunscreen!

What SPF are you using currently? How high do you like your SPF?
