Review: Blistex SPF30 + Lip Balms *

SPF, SPF, SPF - if there's one thing you need to integrate into your skincare routine, or that should never remove from it, it's SPF! And by that, of course, I mean at least 30 or over. And just because you have it in your skincare doesn't mean that you can forget about it on your lips. Thankfully, Blistex has you covered this Summer!

Their Ultra Lip Balm SPF 30 + is perfect for all the water babies out there! This is water resistant for up to 80 minutes and it also protects against UVA and UVB rays. Not surprisingly, this is apparently the best selling SPF 30 + lip balm in Australia.

The Five Way Lip Protection is meant to nourish the lips, and it's made with five specialised ingredients to defend against the elements. Calendula soothes chapped lips, while glycerol rehydrates and nourishes. Candelilla wax protects against wind, and wheat germ oil locks in moisture, battling dryness and last, but not least, the high broad spectrum SPF 30 + protects against those dangerous rays from the sun. 

These both come in a wind up tube with a cap that detaches by pulling at it. When you first put it on, it feels like you're applying only a thin layer of it, but my lips do feel moisturised for using it. They also taste slightly sweet, which is a little odd, but not unwelcomed. These retail for $3.95 each and can be found at pharmacies and supermarkets, including Priceline and Woolworths.

Remember to take care of your lips this Summer (and always) by popping some SPF on!
