Review: Purito TXA 6 Niacinamide 10 Retinal Serum
So, when people meet me, they think I'm a total extrovert. This happens a lot in a professional capacity, and when I'm at beauty events. It's the art of looking like a totally normal person, despite not being one. I've always thought of myself as somewhat socially awkward, with not quite the right social cues, and perhaps not the most confident person in the room. I can hold my own, but it's not what I tend to project, of that makes sense? This also means that I'm not the most sociable person out there, and I recharge my batteries very well on my own. That said, I just spent the weekend meeting up with a number of different friends and it was actually amazing! And I still have an event this evening, so it's just go go go!
Now, given that I tend to spend my weekend trying to chill out, and relax, and sit around in my skincare, preparing for the coming week, it's been particularly hard to squeeze that bit of my weekly routine into this weekend. Thankfully, I've had some really good bits of skincare in my rotation, and the Purito TXA 6 Niacinamide 10 Retinal Serum has been particularly helpful for keeping my skin bright, and improving the skin barrier. Additionally, this is meant to help improve the appearance of dark spots, help with skin clarity and penetrate deeper into the skin.
I love that this is vegan, which always makes me happy, because it means that it doesn't contain any animal products, nor has it ever been tested on animals, which also means that it's cruelty free. Much like the other Purito serum I wrote about recently, this comes in a clear bottle with a strong dropper applicator, and before applying it on the skin, make sure you shake up the bottle a few times, which mixes the encapsulated retinal . All you need is about 3 drops or so, and that's enough for the face. This doesn't have a scent to it, and it's a very gorgeous blend of red and yellow in the bottle.
Aside from the beneficial effects of niacinamide and retinal, this also contains centella asiatica to help soothe the skin, ceramide NP to aid in repairing the barrier, as well as glutathione to fight off free radicals. All of this this delivered as a liquid serum that has a very watery consistency, which means that it gets absorbed quickly by the skin. I like that this doesn't leave the skin feeling uncomfortable, tingly or sticky. It just takes seconds for me to be ready to apply the next layer of skincare, and speeds up my evening routine.
I've never had this react with any other bits of skincare, nor has my skin had an issue with it. My skin seems to flourish with this product - it's staying bright and feeling healthy. As with a lot of K beauty products online, the price can range a little online, but you can find it as low as $12 on certain websites. It's a serum that seems to do a decent amount of good for my skin, and I am very pleased with it! Purito is certainly a brand that I gravitate to when I step into a store that stocks them! What's your favourite product from Purito?
