Review: Revlon Tinted Glimmer Moisturiser Stick

Happy Thursday! Yesterday was a total roller coaster of events at work - starting off slow, with few appointments, allowing me to catch up on lots of admin stuff. Then, it took a sharp left turn, and basically, it was work, work, work until the end of the day, when everything felt super messy. Thankfully, I didn't have to worry about how my make up was faring throughout the day, because it just stayed on, regardless of what I was doing. It was stressful, but it helped that I didn't have to think about how my face looked as I leapt from one consult to the next!

Part of why my makeup stayed on so well would have be credited to the Revlon Tinted Glimmer Moisturiser Stick! I can remember when I first started playing around with makeup, back when I was 16, and stick foundations were all the rage! I had one that I went everywhere with, like a security foundation, and since then, I've seen stick foundations come and go, and with each reincarnation, they bring something new, and this new one might be my favourite version yet, and here's why. The Revlon Tinted Glimmer Moisturiser Stick is marketed as a 'second coverage tinted moisturiser in a stick for visibly fresh and luminous skin'.

In short, this is a foundation stick that can be used as a multi-purpose product, and it's just about magical, if you're after a dewy finish. This comes in a white tube with a clear cap that you pull off, but is quite secure, making this an easy product to travel with. This comes in eight different shades, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it's meant to blend out easily, which means that it's also supposed to fit a wide range of skin tones.

The formula also includes squalene in it, so that it acts as a bit of a makeup/skincare hybrid product. You're meant to be able to just swipe, blend, go and live your life with a fresh layer of moisture and glow - perfect for the busy babe on the go! It really is as easy as removing the cap, twisting the stick, and gliding it over the skin. I have this in shade 110, which is like a light neutral on me, and I love that this gives me very sheer coverage that just looks amazing, and keeps my skin feeling moisturised.

It's not cakey at all, and I love that my skin looks really radiant and luminous once this has been applied. This really does melt into the skin, and I can blend it into my face with literally anything - my fingers, a sponge and brush, it doesn't matter! It's foolproof and for a beginner, this would be an easy one to use. You can use it as an all over base product, a concealer, or as a contouring and highlighting stick, to add dimension to the face. I've been using this as a base product/concealer, and I've absolutely loved it on my skin! A dewy finish, and impossible to mess up? Sign me up! This retails for $34, and can be found where Revlon is sold. Do you use a stick foundation?
