Review: Neutrogena Hydroboost Niacinamide Serum

Neutrogena is one of those staple brands that I've been actively using for many (too many!) years, and I can still remember when I first discovered their Hydroboost range - it felt like a total game changer for me then! I've been a big fan of the range ever since I discovered it, and it's been a joy to see the collection grow and expand to include a whole variety of products, going from night creams to sunscreen and now, the Hydroboost Niacinamide Serum!

This comes in an opaque white bottle with a dropper applicator that has quite a good suction, which means that this can dispense more than a couple of drops of serum in one go, and it allows the user to titrate the amount of product that you would like to apply to the skin. While the bottle does look quite pretty, I find it hard to ascertain how much product is left in the bottle, given that I can't see through it.

I love that this doesn't have a scent to it, and that this has a runny consistency, which means that this is easily absorbed by the skin. My skin loves this, and it's not surprising, given that this is a multi-action hydrating serum that can help exfoliate the skin to help improve the appearance of pores, while leaving it looking clearer. It also aids in strengthening the skin's moisture barrier, helping to improve the tone and texture of the skin.

This contains a blend of hyaluronic acid, which can help retain water in the skin, so that it can stay hydrated for longer, as well as niacinamide, which is responsible for just about every other awesome thing this serum does! The inclusion of neoglucosamine means that this can help plump and even skin tone as well.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that I have absolutely loved using this! Given that this is a drugstore brand, it's not particularly pricey, which is great, as I feel like the entire Hydroboost range is certainly worth picking up! To find out more about the serum, head to their website. This retails for about $45, and you can find it where Neutrogena is stocked, including Chemist Warehouse and Priceline.
