Binned Things November 2015!

Ah, yes, the good old empties! Obviously running a little late, but better late than never, right? Be prepared for a bit of a bumper pack, considering that I still haven't gotten around to doing the December ones!

1) Listerine Total Care Mouthwash - Staple!
Repurchase? Always

2) In Essence Sleep Easy Spray - I have to say, I think this really did help me sleep better. I kinda miss it now that I don't have one.
Repurchase? Yes!

3) Models Prefer Brightening Primer - I quite liked this primer! I thought it did brighten up my skin
Repurchase? Yes

4) Vaseline Aloe Fresh Moisturiser - A great moisturiser with a lovely scent. Vaseline certainly does a lot of things right!
Repurchase? Yes

5) Rosehip by Essano Hand Creme - Great packaging, but honestly, not my favourite hand cream. I found this to be not as moisturising as ideal, and the consistency was both thin and waxy. See further review here.
Repurchase? No

6) Natio Body Scrub - I bought this as something new to try from Natio, and I have to say, it's not my cup of tea. It's a little sticky, and I found the gritty bits to be a little too fine. It's quite pretty decent pomegranate-y scent, though!
Repurchase? No

7) Natura Siberica Obleipikha and Honey Body Scrub - You HAVE to try this for yourself! See full review here.
Repurchase? Yes!

8) Dermalogica Daily Microexfoliant - I really like this scrub in that it was nice and gentle on my skin, but what I didn't appreciate was how easily the opening of the container got clogged up with clumped microexfoliant!
Repurchase? Maybe

9) Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening Serum - Not the most magnificent serum ever, but really quite lovely on the skin, with a slightly sweet scent to it.
Repurchase? Yes

10) Soap & Glory Hand Food - A pretty pleasant hand cream from a well marketed brand. I'd use another one in a heartbeat.
Repurchase? Yes

11) Dove Clinical Protection Antiperspirant - If there were a zombie apocalypse, Imma grab about 10 of these before driving off.
Repurchase? YES!

12) Schwarzkopf Push-Up Volume Lotion - When I first used this, I was a little heavy handed with it., and it got sticky. I did try it again and it's actually quite ok. It's not too bad, but I left it for too long and it got quite old.
Repurchase? Maybe

13) Rodial Super Acids Extreme Hangover Mask - I liked using this one for that light tingly feel on the skin. See here for a bit more of a review.
Repurchase? Likely

14) The Face Shop Character Mask (Tiger) - A bit of a fun one! I posted a shot of me wearing this on Instagram a while back. It's not particularly spectacular on the skin, but it's not bad, and it's cute!
Repurchase? For the novelty!

15) Etude House I Need You, Lemon! Face Mask - Brightening and refreshing! I liked this one!
Repurchase? Yes

16) Etude House I Need You, Mango! Face Mask - I found this to be quite soothing on the skin.
Repurchase? Likely

17) Woolworths Select Make up Pads - Love them! Accidentally ran out of them recently, and I was really confused! I thought I had tons of them!
Repurchase? Yes!

18) Ole Henriksen Fresh Start Eye Cream - This didn't do much for dark eye bags, but I thought it did reduce a bit of the swelling.
Repurchase? Yes

19) Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel - Refreshing and grapefruity! It's a very happy shower gel indeed.
Repurchase? Yes

20) Philosophy Hands of Hope Hand Cream - See review here. A hand cream I wouldn't mind getting more of!
Repurchase? Likely

21) L'Oreal Pro Fiber Recharge Monodoses - I really enjoyed using this range of haircare! See more about the range here.
Repurchase?

22) Dr Morita Face Mask - This mask was a fun facial sheet, but nothing amazing happened.
Repurchase? No

23) L'Occitane Roses et Reines Hand Cream - Gorgeous rose scented hand cream by L'Occinate! A serious 'what's not to like?' with this one!
Repurchase? Yes

24) Simple Eye Make-Up Corrector Pen - This grew stuff on the tip! I didn't think this was very easy to use and things just got a little smeary.
Repurchase? No

25) Lush Nightwing Shower Jelly - A fun limited edition shower jelly! Zesty and in the shape of a batwing!
Repurchase? Yes

26) Milani Brow Tint Pen - This did not work for me at all! It just didn't come off onto the skin and it wasn't what I thought it'd be.
Repurchase? No

That La Roche Posay makeup remover is awesome! Also, I enjoyed using that Philosophy serum - I would love to try a full sized bottle of that.

And that's everything I used up in November! Now hold on tight, because there are tons more of the good old empties to come!

  5. I didn't find the Skin Brightening serum to do much for me but I love the consistency of it. I haven't used Happy Hippy in such a long time but my fave scent is The Olive Branch. Maybe you can kill the zombies by rolling the deo all over them???! lol
