Review: V10 Plus Collagen Serum + GIVEAWAY!

I dabble in asian skincare from time to time, but for some reason, I don't have them in constant rotation, and I don't know why, because I've been trying the Collagen serum from V10 Plus, and it's amazing! I won a duo of serums at the recent Melbourne Bloggers United Au event, and I felt so incredibly lucky, because I was very taken by the bottles, but that was nothing compared to when I tried it!

V10 Plus is a Japanese skincare brand that allows you to customise your serum according to your skin's needs. There is a consultation sheet you can fill out to check which ones would be most appropriate for you, and you can mix and match things up. This is further broke down into 5 different categories:

1) Hydrating series - Hyaluronic, Collagen, Amino
2) Anti-aging series - Bio Cell, Collagen, Hyaluronic
3) Whitening series - Placenta, Vitamin A, Quasi
4) Acne treatment series - Licorice, Vitamin C, Pygnogenol
5) Sensitive series - Ceramide, Placenta, Pygnogenol

I decided to use one of the two serums, so that I could actually tell if it was doing anything for my skin. Given my general stress  levels, I thought that the Collagen serum would be most suitable, as it's meant to improve tired ageing skin. This contains marine collagen that's supposed to help maintain skin elasticity, Additionally, this should prevent and improve the look of fine line and wrinkles.

I absolutely love that this is water based, because it literally takes about 3 seconds for my skin to drink it up! The dropper bottle means not having to dip into the container, and this also means that I can control how much I want to use, as well as making it super easy, if I wanted to mix this with another serum from the range.

Definitely fragrance free, with a small amount of viscosity to it, it has helped in maintaining the smoothness of my skin. My face feels really smooth after it's use, and I can definitely see myself squeezing every last drop out of this! These are all paraben, artificial colour and mineral oil free, and they retail for $69 each.

Aside from serums, there are also cleanser, an eye cream, a water mask, peeling exfoliant and a hydrating gel. For more information on the brand, you can read more about it on their site here.

Now for the exciting part! V10 Plus is generously giving away one serum of YOUR choosing, and all you have to do is hop over to Instagram and follow the prompts over there! Good luck!

Have you heard of V10 Plus before? What would you like to try?
