The Vaseline Healing Project *
I moisturise all the time, and I make the effort to keep my skin happy and as stress free as possible. What if, however, it weren't possible? That's precisely what The Vaseline Healing Project is aiming to draw attention to, so that we can help those that don't have the resources to do so for themselves.
It is an extremely worthy cause spearheaded by Vaseline in partnership with Direct Relief. This project intends to provide medical supplies, dermatological care and Vaseline products to help restore the skin of 5 million people living in the wake of crisis and disaster by 2020.
Between the 17th of April and the 17th of July of 2016, the purchase of Vaseline jelly or Vaseline lotion product, a proportion of the cost will be donated to Direct Relief. If you're not in need of any lotion, but would still like to do your part, head to their website to build a relief kit, and donate away!
Help do a lot of good for those with very little. We may take certain things for granted, but we will always have more than many others, so think about this the next time you're looking to buy some body lotion!

Oh what a fantastic cause!! We always have Vaseline at home. I remember while I was in a small child in primary school my dad introduced Vaseline to me as something for his cracked heels. I went to school and saw my friend put Vaseline on her lips and thought she was putting heel cream on her lips. I was so confused because I had no concept of how things can be so versatile lol, a very vivid memory!

Haha! That's such a great story! I would have thought the same thing!
DeleteThat's a great idea! Awesome work Vaseline! I still have a giant bottle of moisturiser from last year I still need to use up. I'm so bad at remembering to moisturise.
