Glamour Affair 2015!
What you see here in this picture, ladies and gentlemen, is just the sheer amount of stuff that I got through a great event that I went to recently, known as Glamour Affair! Glamour Affair was set up as a collaboration between two lovely ladies, Melissa Bubbles (you can find her blog over here) and Erin, who runs Baby, Beauty and Beyond, and they made the trek from Melbourne to Sydney to throw this brilliant get together!
We also had some lovely speakers turn up, including, but not limited to, representatives from Boe Beauty, Enbacci and Lush.

Thanks to this event, I got to meet a number of other fantastic bloggers, including Lily at Lily Not Louise (who hugged me straightaway and was exactly as I imagined her), Alice at Pynk Bunny (who was a real sweetie) and Gery at Margarita Lipstick (who made me laugh a lot), just to name a few! It reinforced what I liked about blogging, and that's aside from getting my thoughts out, it's really about the camaraderie and spirit of like-minded people who tend to be supportive and kind.
Due to my lighting, sadly, I couldn't get the pictures perfectly on my camera, and the ones on my phone aren't great (boo!), so I thought I'd show you instead, all the wonderful things we were gifted at the event.
Glam Affair pouch, brush, gel liner (I think) and pigment - I got this cute little pack as part of being one of the first people to turn up! How gorgeous is this?
Rosehip Plus Day Cream, Oil, Night Cream and Oil in a tube - I'm excited about this pack, because I love rosehip oil!
Raw Mix pack and Coco Vodka Guava - I love the inclusion of food in a beauty pack, particularly such a large bag! I certainly needed some sustenance to get me through that. I had to include my little one in this picture, because he had a strange fascination with the can and wouldn't let it go!
Rimmel Oh My Gloss! gloss, Wake Me Up Mascara, Kate lipstick, Rita Ora and 60 Second Super Shine nail polishes - The lovely Lily actually swapped her gloss with me (thanks, Lily!) so I wouldn't have a double up - how's that for sweet? I'm a fan of Rimmel, so this is great!
Boe Beauty Eyeshadow Duo, Nail Enamel, Lip Lacquer, Lip Cream and Lip Gloss - I've tried some Boe beauty products before, and I've really liked some of the items, but not all, which is quite normal for me. Hopefully, I will find more budget friendly loves in this bunch!
Benefit They're Real! Mascara, Eyeliners and Porefessional License to Blot - Love Benefit, and getting two full sized eyeliners, the new colourful ones, before their release? Outrageous!
Antipodes Apostle Skin-Brightening Serum and Grapeseed Butter Cleanser - I actually just got some Antipodes to try, including the cleanser. I'm not going to give away too much. Let's just say, I'm grateful there's one waiting in the wings!
Jergens Daily Moisture Lotion - I'm actually using this right now, so having a back up is fab!
Bliss Foaming Face Wash - I've never tried this one before, so yay!
Body Shop Strawberry set - Of all the scents I could have gotten, I'm so glad I got this! I have loved the strawberry range forEVER, so this rocks, clearly!
Dirty Works Mini Luxuries set - Been sending some love Dirty Works' way recently, and this is just going to reinforce it!
Purasonic Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush - Love me a face scrubber! I've never seen this brand kicking around before, so this is great.
Buddy Scrub Raw Cacao Body Scrub - I can't get enough of a body scrub, which means that this is a very welcome addition to my cupboard!
SOS Moisture Balm - Frangipani and coconut? Are you kidding me? That sounds too gorgeous!
Racinne Ultimate Defense Illuminating Cream - I've heard of this brand, but never tried it before, and I'm always up for trying new things!
Cedel Conditioning Foam - I actually have a bottle of this that I haven't tried, but it sounds really pretty, so I'm hoping it works out well!
Elegant Touch Press On Nails - What a cute design! I look forward to trying them out!
Wotnot Facial Wipes - Big fan of this brand and their wipes, so I'm glad to have a little travel pack!
John Plunkett Glyco Peel - If you can withstand the tingling, it's a great product! I've finished one before, and liked it.
1000 Hour Eyelash and Eyebrow Tint kit - I've tried this before and quite liked it. Just have to be more proactive about it!
Impulse Body Spray in Illusions - Impulse has really turned their game around! This is something that I will be using before I hit the gym.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush - I've used Batiste products before and liked them. I can't remember if I've tried this scent before, but either way, it's nice to have this!
Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid - Used this, liked it, happy to get a new bottle!
Skindinavia Finishing Spray - This is the first brand of finishing spray I ever tried, and I absolutely loved it then, and still do now, so hello, new travel buddy!
Nuxe Oil - Another little bottle of Nuxe! I'm never going to travel without a Nuxe bottle again!
Bioderma Micelle Solution - I'm running low on my Garnier, so I'm happy to see this little bottle in the bag!
Uriage Eau Thermale D'Uriage - You can apparently use this like a finishing spray as well, and apparently tastes salty? Just a little by the by, but something I found interesting.
Enbacci sample pack - I love all the little sample tubes from Enbacci! These will be great for the next trip I take!
Elucent Whitening sample pack - I've actually tried this one before through Beautyheaven! I like that the face cream has SPF 30 in it.
Momma lipstick - This one is new to me! I have a lippie obsession, and I can't wait to trot this out!
Revitanail Keratin Strengthening Serum - Goodness knows I need something like this! I'm glad I got this in the bag!
Philosophy Time In A Bottle and Hope In A Jar - Love the names! Aside from those, I've also really liked most of the products I've tried from them, so it's a great inclusion.
Lush American Dream Hair Conditioner and Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion - I've never tried the first, but love the second! Lush is a great brand, and cruelty free at that, so this is awful.
Revo lip balm - This is shaped like the EOS balms, which I am currently using as my night balm, so perhaps this could join it on my night stand.
Hydralyte sachets - Phew, we're almost at the end! I feel like I need a bit of this to perk me up, as I'm running out of steam!
Heads Up - This is meant to help to hangovers, which I don't tend to get many of anymore, because I don't drink as much as I used to, but my husband has graciously agreed to take them off my hands. Isn't he a nice man?
Yelp mints and lip balm - A slightly odd addition, but greatly appreciated, because travel sized mints are always handy.
Revvies Energy Strips - Oooh! This is a great concept! Perfect for when you hit those midday slumps, so thanks!
8 Day Teatox - This sounds interesting and I'm looking forward to using it!
Carmex Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm - I am currently using a different version of this, and I quite like it, so it's great to see this in the pack.
Boe Professional Water Gloss Dewy Shine Super Shine Lipstick - What an intriguingly long name!
Zassni Carrot Tan Jam - This is a very interesting product. I don't actually know how to use this, so I might have to do some patch testing.
Face of Australian Lip Creme - I love FOA, and so hopefully, this will be no exception!
Innoxa Invisible Lip Shaper - I think this might be a lip pencil without colour, which is brilliant.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Another Rimmel lipstick, and a gorgeous red, at that!
Mary Kay Nail Lacquer, Lip Lacquer, Powder, Mask and Eyeshadow - I have some Mary Kay products, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. These look particularly gorgeous, though, especially that powder!
Eleven Miracle Hair Treatment - This! This is the dastardly product that leaked all over the other pretty things in the bag, and caused a big hole to form at the bottom! Thank goodness I found it before I left the venue! The very nice Gery from Margarita Lipstick stayed back and wiped off everything with me - what a doll! Also, I'm bummed that I'll be missing out on this leave in treatment, because I really like it!
Clear Eyes Cleansing Wipes - These look like they will come in handy in the future!
Thank You Hand Sanitiser - Who doesn't love a little bottle of travel sanitiser? I know I do!
Shanghai Suzy Gothic Chic collection - I actually already have all four of them, and I absolutely love them! They might find their way into a giveaway at some point in the future. They really are gorgeous.
Eye of Horus pack - I won this pack as part of an Instagram competition, by posing for a picture with Gery! Woo hoo! Never having tried EOH, I was super excited to get this!
I think you'd be inclined to agree with me when I say that it's an incredibly generous gift bag! I would like to do a shout out to all of the brands pictured above, as well as the ladies responsible for creating this event. A big thanks too, to Amuse Beauty, who provided some of the gorgeous products!
