7 Wonders of January 2015!
Going from month to month, I find that I sometimes go through a phase where there are certain products that I fixate on, and last month, I went back to one of my first loves - lips! Here are the products that I really focused on in January:
1) Sun Sense Anti-Ageing Face Lotion with SPF 30+ - I've really enjoyed using this on the super hot days here in Sydney! I've also found this to be less 'ball-y' when applying make up over this lotion. Bonus!
2) Maybelline Colour Elixir Colour Sensation in Fuchsia Flourish - This is an excellent gloss! Great formula that moisturizes, rather than get all sticky, and colour that packs a punch. A definite must for any gloss aficionado.
3) Tom Ford Lipstick in Wes - Dark, vampy and creamy gorgeousness in a little limited edition tube? What's not to like?
4) Paula's Choice Moisture Boost Essential Hydrating Toner - I've been using this steadily for a couple of weeks, and I've really enjoyed using it on my skin. It causes the skin to tingle just a teensy bit, which I quite like.
5) Rimmel Provocalips in Play With Fire - You know that moment when you're out and about, and you have the boldest and brightest lippe on? And the wind chooses that moment to kick up and drag strands of hair across your face? Leaving streaks on the way over? Yup, we've all been there. I love this product for preventing that alone. A definite winner!
6) Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - Oh. My. God. Was I living under a rock? Why did it take me so long to get this palette? It's gorgeous and I've used all three shades repeatedly. I really want to get a large one of Dim Light!
7) Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar - I'm not sure what colour this is, but I've been reaching for it a little more often over the last few weeks. It's just a nice bright shade for Summer, and it also lasts on the lips.
And that's it! What did you absolutely love last month?

That's how I felt until I got my hands on this!
DeleteGorgeous picks, girl! I'm a huge fan of Dim Light, so it's probably inevitable that I pick up the Ambient Lighting palette at some point :) The Lip Tar looks lovely too!

I can't believe you finished yours! I really want a big one of Dim Light.
Deletethe sun sense is my favourite facial sunscreen, it's so light and I hate having to reapply sunscreen during the day and ending up looking like a sweatball from the greasiness, but this one is great!
ReplyDeleteIt is a really great sunscreen!
Deletebahh I am eyeing your hourglass palette... one day... one day!!!
ReplyDeleteI would highly recommend that you get one - it's so good!
