Christmas Swap with Sweetaholic Beauty!
I LOVE Christmas! It is honestly one of my favourite things about December, and it has to battle with my birthday AND my anniversary, so there's quite a bit of competition then.
Back a couple of months ago, Jasmine over at Sweetholic Beauty (you really should check out her blog if you haven't had the chance to yet) did a Halloween swap with me, and I enjoyed it so much that I asked her to do a Christmas swap with me, given that I was going to Singapore and could do an Asian beauty box for her, and she said yes!
She really outdid herself with this particular parcel, as you can probably tell, and without much further ado, here's what was included in the package!
The elusive AC on Tour highlighting and contouring kit! This palette, oddly enough, doesn't come with a mirror, unlike most of their palettes.
As you can see, there's a bit of fallout already, without me even swatching it, but it doesn't matter, because it's so gorgeous! From past experience with Australis products, they have really stepped up their game over the last five years, so that this cruelty free brand is by far one of the best budget brands around. I know people who are overseas who would love to try some Australis products, which is how we feel about Milani and Wet n Wild, I think!
Not only did Jasmine include one of the most sought after 'It' kits of the moment, she also put in a bunch of goodies!
First of all, she included a lip paint by Face of Australia in Fired Up Fuschia, which is something I've been wanting to try! Lip tars and lip paints with their promised stay power and intensity are two things that I've been obsessed with this year, and it's such a vibrant colour!
She then included another two products by Australis, and that's the Metallic Eye Shadow in Plum Diddy and Velourlips in Grandmaster Pash, which is the most beautiful shimmery red! I love, love, love Velourlips, and I was eyeing off this colour, and really wanted to get myself one, but just couldn't justify it, after receiving so many items this December so far!
I also found a primer by Models Prefer, which is meant to be a brightening type, and primers are one of my staples, so yay! I also got the Essence Lash Princess mascara, which I was looking to try, and a Rimmel Keep Calm and Kiss lip balm in Pink Blush, as well as an Australis Cray for Colour eye crayon in Irresistibly Plum. Additionally, I received a hand cream by NS-5.
I believe this is the definition of spoiled right there - what a champ! If you'd like to know what I got for her, you can look it up here. Thanks again, Jasmine, for a great swap!
If you've done a KK swap, I'd love to see what you got/gave! Leave me a comment and let me know!
Jasmine did a great job with this job!! Hope you enjoy the products!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly did! Loving everything from it!
DeleteOMG! AC on Tour!! I've been looking for it at priceline but can never ever find it! great swap :)
ReplyDeleteCheck Big W Lily.. that's where I ended up finding mine :)
DeleteI have seen small pockets of them in a couple of Pricelines - don't give up hope!
DeleteWow, you were spoiled.. lucky girl! I love the shimmer highlight in this palette, can't wait to hear what you think of it. I've seen so many complain that the bronzer/contouring shades are too dark and muddy, but I make them work :) Happy New Year Leah! All the best for 2015!! xx
ReplyDeleteI think I'm dark enough that it might actually work ok on me! Thanks, Loz - it's a good one so far!
DeleteSuch a fun swap! Love the look of that contour kit especially. Happy New Years, Leah! xo
