Review: Synergie Skin HyalaVive
It came out, around the end of last year, that Dua Lipa and I have something in common, and that is that we love Synergie Skin! For those who don't know about Synergie Skin, they are a Melbourne based skincare brand, and they have created various products that I've enjoyed using over the years. I mean, good skin can sometimes be genetic, such as when it comes to me (thanks mum!), but that doesn't mean that you can't find the right products to further enhance it.
And if you should be so lucky as to end up with genes that allow you to push the boundaries of skincare and what you can slather on your skin, then congratulations! If, however, you should be not quite as lucky, don't stress - there's definitely still good skincare out there that can target your needs, and Synergie Skin definitely fits into that category! Particularly if your skin is sensitive and isn't the easiest thing to keep happy, then you should be looking to protect your skin barrier, and the Synergie Skin HyalaVive may just be the right product for you.
Sitting at around $140 for a 30 ml bottle of serum, this is comprised of three hyaluronic acid derivatives, as well as a bioidentical TriCeramide and B12 Complex. Together, these are made to help keep the skin well moisturised on multiple levels, reducing water loss while locking in hydration, as well as strengthening and protecting the skin barrier. It's also meant to help with keeping the skin soothed by reducing redness and calming inflammation. This can also assist in firming and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
This comes in a dark bottle with a firm pump, and I feel like I need about three pushes of this to get enough serum to cover my face and neck. What surprised me was the colour of the serum, being that it's hot pink! That was a really nice surprise - I don't think I've ever seen serum of that colour before, and that was such a fun thing to find. I can't say that I appreciate the scent as much as I do the shade of the serum, however, as it's certainly a lot sharper than I thought it would be. Think strong cheese? It's quite an obvious fragrance, and I can't say that it's my favourite.
Still, the scent doesn't linger around, thankfully, and the benefits of the serum itself really outweighs the one teeny negative thing that I have to say about it! My skin feels soft and moisturised with the use of this, and I can't even tell that I've been experiencing any dry cabin air, despite zipping around Australia and internationally over the last few months. If you're looking for something that can help your skin feel happier, and stronger, this is something you should consider adding to your list! You can find out more about HyalaVive over here. What have you tried from Synergie Skin?
