Christmas Gift Guide 2016: Stocking Stuffers and Presents Under $50

Christmas is drawing ever closer and there is only so much more time left for shopping, whether you're looking for a special deal for yourself, or for that someone extraordinary. Don't panic, because the ultimate consumer (that would be me) is here to help you sort out your shopping situation and get you all done before you can say "Can I get eggnog with that?"! I have a few different guides coming out, so you don't find anything that catches your eye in here, stay tuned!
First off, let me just say that I love, love, LOVE Christmas, so if you're not into it, be prepared to be converted by my enthusiasm! Without much more ado, here are some of the products you need to have on your wishlist and your to buy scope!

While practical, these little stocking stuffers will definitely be a welcome addition to just about anyone's collection of essentials! The Rimmel * Magnif'eyes Palette, which retails for $19.95, is new on the market, and a neat little product to slip into someone's stocking. This comes in two different shades.

Revo * is one of my favourite lip balm brand, and they've changed their packaging from a round balm to a twist type one. This retails for $4.99 and comes in 4 flavours - all of which are yummy!

Natralus * makes my absolute favourite Paw Paw Ointment, which comes in really handy when my lips are dry, or when I have a cold and my skin is all raw and chapped from the constant nose blowing. This comes in several sizes, and they also make a lip balm! These won't break the bank, and retail for less than $15.

Nuxe * is impossible to say no to, particularly when they package it up to look like a Christmas Bon Bon! For $19.99, you'd be gifting a Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream, which is contains a lot of gorgeous oils for hydration, as well  as a multi-purpose dry oil, Huile Prodigieuse.

One of my favourite things about Christmas is the kits that come out! Weleda * has a variety of them, including this $35.95 set that contains a hand cream and a cuticle softener pen, which is great for getting those nails in shape for festive colours!

For those wanting to bring a bit of Joy & Happiness into their lives, you can do so with the In Essence * Essential Oil blend! This will get you feeling festive in no time! Fill the house with happiness for only $24.95.

Of course, if you're after festive colours, Sally Hansen * has you covered! Their Miracle Gel Top Coat happens to be my absolute favourite go to, and these come in duo packs and single colours. There are two limited edition holiday shades, including Snowglow and Currant-ly Shopping, which are a tinsel-tinged white and a greige respectively. These packs are $24.95 each.

Ulta3 * also has cute little sets that will look adorable under the tree, including this The Free Spirit kit! This contains 5 nail polishes of the pastel variety, and if you'd prefer something louder, they also have a brighter version, called The Party Animal. This retails for $9.95.

It's no secret that I love Faby * nail polishes, and this set of their Joy minis retails for $23.95. Filled with pastel shades and a pretty red, it certainly would bring joy to the lives of those who receive it!

OP's * latest collection is too gorgeous! Holly Golightly, Cat and the unparalleled fabulousness of Breakfast at Tiffany's will have the receiver all excited about watching the movie while painting their nails. Job well done for ticking so many boxes with just one gift! This retails for $24.95.

As an alternative to polish, Jamberry * could get your nails looking festive in a flash with their nail wraps! These are $22 per sheet and they have so many designs, it would make your head spin! Grab one for your Kris Kringle, and one for yourself!

Forget boring soap on a rope this Christmas! The Body Shop * has a whole range of gorgeous presents, including this Vanilla Chai Festive Tin, which retails for $35.95. They have a scent for every taste, and a present for every budget!

For the gym junkie who has everything, QV's * Sport range will have them squeaky clean in no time! For that personal touch, you can get a towel monogrammed, so that they will think of you every time they hit the treadmill. The Chafing Cream, Moisturiser and 3 in 1 Shower Wash retail for $9.99, $16.99 and $14.99 respectively.

Philosophy's * yearly offerings around Christmas always perks me up, and it's no wonder, given that their shower gels are always so delicious! Shimmering Snowlace retails for $42 and smells beautifully of florals with a hint of citrus.

Kosmea * is a beautiful natural skincare brand that will not just look pretty under the tree, but also keep the skin looking gorgeous. To celebrate their 23rd birthday, they released 3 new products that they have put into a nice and neat little kit for only $49. This includes the Rose Glow Body Wash, Rose Glow Body Mist and Rose Glow Body Oil. This will have you saying you glow girl in a heartbeat!

Of course, Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without the little beauties from Lush! You can buy their products individually, or as a gift pack, all ready to go, and their delightful textures and scents will have the receiver excited about taking their next bath! Prices start from $5.95, and you can pick from bath bombs, to bubble bars, to lotions and scrubs.

For a little something that you can also share with the one you love, Dr Roebuck's * 2 in 1 Polish is a non-abrasive exfoliant that doubles as a deep cleansing mask. After the stress of the day, you can just sit around and revitalise your skin with this clever little product! This retails for $39.99.

For $35.95, Blinc * will have your recipient's peepers looking fresh and bright! These colourful tubes will add a little oomph to the stockings and to their eyes.

If whoever you're shopping for is a beauty aficionado who needs a little help faking being awake from all the parties this silly season, hang a little help on their tree! It Cosmetics * has Confidence In A Cream in a cute little ornament for $24, and their Superhero mascara in a similar container for the same price.

Don't forget about yourself this time of year! Zipping from work to drinks, you're going to need something to help take your makeup looks from day to night. The Naturally Pretty Essentials kit by It Cosmetics * comes with a Superhero mascara, and 7 different shades, as well as little mirror in the lid. This is $46 and small enough to slip into your bag and carry around without adding to the weight too much.

Do you know someone who's always on the go and loves to shine? The Wanderer gift pack from Ulta3 * has a gold-foil sleep mask, a luggage tag, a Liquid Shine Lip Colour in Shiny and their Perfect Your Glow set. This will have them looking well rested and sparkly on the go! This is only $24.95.

Australis * has been coming out with beautiful palettes recently, including the BBH Blush, Bronze and Highlight Palette, which retails for only $16.95. For that palette fiend in your life, this would have them hugging you with joy.

Too Faced got very busy churning out the kits and sets this Christmas, and their miniature set of Let It Glow Highlight and Blush kit is just beyond! For those obsessed with cheek products, who are looking to shine this season, this $36 set is too cute! This is great as a Secret Santa gift, and fantastic for those who like a bit of a touch up in between parties this silly season.

For all the Stila addicts who love a good nude, their Naturally Nude set will delight them. From the cute and easy to wrap packaging to actually what's inside, this is definitely something that they would love! As an alternative, you can get the Bright & Bold version of this. It retails for $28 and can be found at Mecca Maxima.

Another Mecca Maxima set is this $36 Melted kit by Too Faced. They are definitely some of my favourite lippies, from the shades to the finishes, and it is too pretty to pass up! This contains 4 different shades and two different finishes.

For the lippie addict, another one to reach for is the It Cosmetics * Je Ne Sais Quoi Perfect Pink Duo, which retails for $34 and can be found at Sephora, both instore and online. Perfect for that glossy, barely there lift to the lips - too pretty to pass up!

Priceline always has interesting little sets of makeup/skincare this time of year, and I managed to pick up their Savvy by DB Matte Lipgloss Kit. Aside from the oddly conflicting name, I find this very promising, given that it's 10 different shades for only $10! For other gift ideas that won't cost a bomb, consider stalking the aisles of Priceline!

For the girl who has everything, but the tools, the Ecotools * Boho Luxe Travel Set is only $49.95. and not one that you'd even have to wrap yourself! A win win this crazy busy time of year.

I hope this has been helpful for you! Don't see anything you are keen on? Looking to spend a little more? Just wait - part 2 is coming!

What have you purchased so far? Is there anything else you're looking for at the moment?
