FOTD ft. Maybelline, Kat Von D, Antipodes, Rimmel, Illamasqua and Etude House

With cooler days ahead of us, I thought I'd get into darker lip shades, while still keeping the eyeshadow shades more neutral, so to keep everything in that transitional phase.

I began with my trusty old Rimmel * Good To Glow in Soho Glow (side note: totally running low - I'll have to get another one once I'm out, because this stuff is so good!), before going over the face with Maybelline's * Dream Cushion. With the glowy base in place, I then did a slight bit of contouring and highlighting using the Illamasqua Sculpting Powder Duo in Lumos and Heliopolis. Using the same duo, I highlighted my cheekbones. I moved onto using the Illamasqua Bronzing Duo in Glint and Burnish and the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Rose Cheek Blusher in Coral Shine Rose for that pop of pink.

For the lids, I used my MetalMatte Eyeshadow Palette, and started with Fringe as my base, before going over the lids with Suede. I swept a small amount of Glitz over the inner half of my lid, then some Synergy on the outer half, before finishing with a pop of Flash in the middle. For the waterline, I used by Synergy and Flash. For the inner corners of my eyes, I used Rimmel's Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Silver, and for that cat eye's flick, I reached for the Rimmel * Scandaleyes Thick and Thin Eyeliner in Black. To finish the eyes, I topped it with my Etude House lashes in 04.

Finally, I picked up my new dark days go-to lipstick, Oriental Bay Plum, by Antipodes *. Isn't it lush?

Side note: I can't take any credit for my brows at all, because I came straight from a touch up with the gorgeous Hannah over at Benefit HQ!
